She heard a voice close by, looked at the girl and locked on her. Had she spoken to Nova? Well she was looking over here. Nova's head tilted to one side as she took in the other girl's appearance, then she nodded,
"Hey..."
Channler was very pretty, that was for sure. It was too bad that Nova found her attractive, but not in the romantic sense. Ah well. Her eyes caught sight of some bright red hair, and she looked into that direction. The succubus had been looking at the girl who'd greeted Nova, then sighed and walked away with some dog-type creature.
Nova's amber-brown eyes widened, and she watched the two until they disappeared into the crowd. She found herself looking around again, for the first time picking out all of the weirdnesses...
This place was strange. This party was strange. And for the first time, Nova felt like she wasn't out of place. How odd.
Though maybe not...
She brought her overactive mind back to the girl who'd greeted her, locking her gaze on Channler once more, "Was that your girlfriend? The one with the red hair?" Nova was a weirdly socialized girl, therefore, anything that came to mind...usually made it out of her mouth.
The question didn't seem odd or too personal to Nova at all. She was curious about it, therefore she'd asked. Simple.

Channler felt a slight prick of guilt as she watched Cerise turn to leave but it was quickly gone and replaced with a flash of anger. Serves her right, Channler thought her brow furrowed, wrinkling her forehead. She couldn't help thinking though, wishing you could say, that it was she at the red head's side and not that damn dog. The brunette didn't like that feeling, she'd never had this sensation of such hate and longing mingling together since she met Cerise. But she knew the girl probably wouldn't even give her a second thought once she saw someone else, Channler would just be a shadow fading... Her intution was never that good but Channler was going to listen to this time, afraid of more downfall by the beautiful creature. She'll still be my sunshine on this god forsaken island even if I don't want her to be... Channler sighed.
Troubled blue eyes turned back to Nova, and a smile slipped naturally into place, the pretty girl was glad to have some company. She didn't even know the dark haired girl's name but Channler really didn't care she was going to enjoy herself at this party. The youth tried to push Cerise to the back of her mind, but it was awfully hard and was glad when Nova pulled her out of her thoughts with a question. Then not so glad.
Channler bit her lip but then squared her shoulders, teal eyes clear and fierce. She knew the answer but hated herself for it, hated Cerise even more. It burned her throat just thinking of it, that cold two letter word of rejection. She shook it off, knowing she'd lie awake tonight thinking of the bright red head.
"No, she isn't my girlfriend. Not even a friend." She replied, her voice hard, cutting through the air like a knife. It didn't matter anymore, nothing mattered. Channler hoped she had spoken the words loud enough for Cerise to hear, loud enough that they would slice in what heart the red head had and cut through it like Cerise had done to Channler's. But then a horrid thought flared up in Channler's mind, did Nova like her? What if Cerise picked her, what then? Channler had never really been a violent person but her now her fists balled into fists, clenching and unclenching at her tension.
No, she mustn't think of it now! Channler smiled, relaxing slightly, hoping she didn't give the wrong first impression. "Sorry if I come off as rude, it's just I'm a little stressed. So what's your name, love?" She asked warmly, stepping closer to the other. She found it easier to breath around Nova and yet again she was thankful for the other's company. tagged;; Nova notes;; cerise is driving channler insane haha

Nix smiled at her reflection in the water, ignoring the other thoughts that invaded her mind. He thought it would be better to ignore that message and just continue what he had them doing so far. She couldn't deal with hiding like a little rat anymore, it was driving her slowly mad being cut off from any communication well of at least ones that would respond. It was horrible when realizing that all she truly had to talk to was her brother since the real little rat had ran off a while ago.
I really think you should rethink what you are doing, the thought made it through to her mind. Ah, even when he wasn't in control of her, no their body, he was still trying to control her. I know you read that message because I saw the message , she shot the thought back at him while she tied her hair up into a simple braid to get it out of her face for now, And I don't know about you little brother, but I am not so curious right now as to what they could take of ours next.
That shut him up just like she hoped it would, though probably not for long. She continued happily, just for the fact of meeting new faces and just plain company, as she ripped one of her brother's few shirts practically in half before slipping it on so that now it ended just at the end of her ribcage. Luckily she did have a few of her own things like the pair of shorts that she quickly slipped on. That was the one true bad part about sharing a body with your twin brother, privacy was a thing of the past. She looked down at herself slightly disappointed since she knew that was the best it was going to get her on this place.
Nix made her way to the party or festival or whatever they were calling it when she felt the Earth tremor under her feet. You can still turn around. Say that we forgot all about it, the worried thought entered her mind.
Stop sounding like such a little girl, she told him as she continued again the small earthquake only seeming to draw more on her curiosity. Nix's eyes lit up as she entered the scene, oh yes real people. Well, some of them didn't seem so normal, but then she couldn't say much considering her...themselves.
Though her brother had done something right hiding them for now she could have some fun with at least a few, no one should know of their little switching yet. For the years that they had been trapped like this, people seemed to give their situation some odd looks and sometimes....well some where just pervs. None the less she would make this night fun, no matter what.
Note: Anyone feel free to attack her, them, whatever. Though I can not promise what will happen after wards.

" Ugh, another thorn? Really? "
He bent over, leaning against a thick tree for support. As he pulled his leg up, he knew he was right. There, stuck deep in his calf, was a thorn. He'd just traveled half the island, which was so conveniently covered in large bushes of brambles and thorns, and wasn't surprised to have found his twenty-seventh thorn today. Maybe I wouldn't have so many if I actually knew where the hell I was going! he thought angrily, ripping it out and continuing forward, ignoring the pain.
He had been on this island for less than a month, a most of it was spent stuck in his horse form. He'd been more worried about how the hell he was going to get out of that body more than exploring the island, so it wasn't a surprise that he had no clue where to find anything. Than when he'd finally transformed back, he was 'captured' by Aubrey. At least she'd clothed him, though the shorts she'd given him had seen better days. The edges were frayed and the were small rips everywhere. He had been careful to remove them before shifting the few times he'd done it for practice, he didn't want to have to go around naked again.
Continuing forward, he thought about when he'd first received the invite. He probably wouldn't have attempted to find this place had the invitation not promised food. There wasn't anything he wouldn't give to get a good filling these days. Of course he was nervous about what it might do to him, Aubrey had said there were some shady characters sneaking around here, but his stomach had bumped his common sense off the list of Most Important Things to Listen To. So, here he was, wandering around completely lost, looking for a good meal.
The smell hit him before the noise. Food! his heart sang, and he picked up the pace, leaping rather child-like over a fallen log. He could feel the spit welling in his mouth as he imagined the food that'd be there. He was craving meat, he didn't care if it was raw or not. After living off of grass, flowers and strange fruits for awhile -- transforming into a horse wasn't his first choice -- even the chewiest, driest, blandest piece of roast beef would satisfy him.
It wasn't hard to pinpoint where the food was being held -- there was a crowd already gathered around it. Walking purposely, he pushed his way through the line, grabbing whatever his hand reached first. Pulling it back toward him, he smiled wide.
" Yes! Chicken! " he cried out loud, ripping the meat off the bone greedily and shoving it into his mouth. He finished the leg in seconds. For the first time in a long time, he longed for a drink, something to loosen him up some. This was a party after all. If they were going to be forced to come, why not have some fun while you're at it?
Having filled his stomach for now -- it was obvious he'd be returning to the table again -- he ran a thick hand through his hair. The wounds and scrapes he'd gained in the past month had begun to scar. He was just glad they weren't itching anymore, he would scratch at them absent-mindedly, reopening the gashes time after time. Now, to find something to do, he thought, glancing through the crowd. He knew only Aubrey, and he wasn't even sure where she was. Not that he was planning on spending all his time with her, she was a bit too insane for his taste. No, he wanted to meet his fellow occupants of this hell, get acquainted with them. Plus, it couldn't be bad to have a few people on your side, you never know what could happen on an island filled with a bunch of fairy tale creatures.

She wouldn't openly admit it but the bright colors and the shine of the metal in their faces attracted her like a moth to a flame. Nix absolutely adored the unusual the dark and the blonde, the metal in both their faces, and to make it better they were obviously twins. Two was always better then one, as she always reminded Pheonix and even if they were all cozy with those other two boys, they would still be fun to play with.
Nix twisted the braid in her hand as she made her way to the table ladened with food and all that good stuff. Those hazel eyes already dancing with plans as she watched from the opposite side of the table. No. No. No, absolutely not, the voice sounded threw her skull.
Oh you want to come out and see them yourself? You could make a whole new kind of friends in this cutoff shirt of yours, that smile not disappearing as the annoying little brother instantly shut up. Had she hit the nail on the head or was he embarrassed of the possibility? It was a shame she couldn't see his face right then just to make it even better.
"Ya know," she finally spoke with that cat like grin, "if he had dark hair like yours, instead of that blonde, you two could be twins." Nix gave a short laugh, not sure or even caring if her little "joke" was a little on the bitchy side. Tonight was a night that she would have fun and she was being quite the determined blonde daimon.

it starts at my toes & then i crinkle my nose ! ! !WHERE EVER IT GOES, I ALWAYS KNOW Where am I?, Ghost thought to herself, her delicate bones skipping over fallen branches and overgrowth in the dark forests of Ivory. She couldn't remember a thing; she was just there, she awoked in a forest, no explanation or story behind it. She couldn't see much, through the big, inky orbs that were currently her eyes, doing her best not to break her bones through the maze of trees. She saw the faintest lights - blasts of fire puffing about in the air, strong gusts of wind sweeping past her pelt, and voices ripe with hatred. Wonderful, but what choice did she have? There was atleast someone there, and if they killed her, atleast she'd have died knowing what was going on.
She shifted, clenching her baby-blues tight as she felt her small body make the painful shift back from doe to human. She blushed, crouching down to cover her bare body over the unusually harsh winds of the island. She'd felt them before, remembering the coldness that seemed to last for months after storms. "There must've been a bad one...", she whimpered to herself, the weather not making her any less fearful of the place. Her thin fingers ran over the forest floor, finding a stash of clothes. A little smirk corssed her face as she realized there was more than she could wear. Atleast she had her clothes.
Hugging a white dress to her chest, she slipped some clothes on, enjoying the wamrth of the cloth against her goosebumped flesh. She tied a little pink ribbon in her blonde hair, placing the rest of the clothes down next to a tree. Nervously, she began to walk over into the party, butterflies dancing about in her stomach as she revealed herself to the guests, who probally had no interest in the troubles of the simple teenager. Maybe they vacationed here, she wondered, though looking around, she doubted they were here of their own accord. She turned the blind eye to the fearsome black wolf that stood next to the witch, and looked for someone to speak to, to get a little information from.
Ghost stumbled about, her big doe eyes spelling curiousity to all who paid her any mind. She saw them; most of them were pretty attractive, keeping their pretty faces out of sight and out of mind. Most of them had a pale palour to their skin, not unlike her own. She was probally on an island in Europe, or from the abundance of asians, somewhere in between Asia and the latter. A gut feeling told her that she wasn't the only thing that as less than human here; No, far from it.
She gulped at the thought, as she ushered herself over to the table which held up the foods, slipping the smallest bit of candy between her puffy lips. savoring the sweet juicy taste of the sweets. She decided she'd best survive on that for the night, not wanting to look gluttonous, probally already an intruder in the party as it was. She turned her ocean-blue eyes to the boy who stood beside her, an attractive one with a head of chestnut hair and eyes that seemed to lull you into a trance. Even as he was scarfing down bits of chicken, she still received that little girl feeling by his presense. Looking at her feet, she said faintly, "H-hey...", she said nervously to the DJ. Her eyes rose up to meet the kelpie, hoping he was kind enough to deal with an annoying girl like her. Lord knows she wouldn't have.
