When Marie finally set Pleasant down, the boy was fuming she had ripped him away. "Marie," he growled glaring at her while she looked like a scorned dog waiting for her punishment. Pleasant glared at her finally pulling away, "Fine, but you're taking care of it." Marie lit back up again even with the harsh tone the boy used.
Marie crouched in front of the slowly dying man with a smile on her face despite it all. "Don't worry," she talked as Pleasant walked around and behind the man, "we will help you. You won't die and you can be just like me."
Pleasant grumbled under his breath as he listened to the two, ignoring the questions and words pointed at him. Sticking his own wrist in his mouth slitting it with his own fangs, "Bastard."
"And then..and then," the girl completely animated with ideas,"I can teach you all kinds of fun things."
"Marie," Pleasant spoke again as he grabbed the man in front of him and looked down at him, "You don't wish to die, she doesn't want me to kill you. So, you get to suffer through." At that he shoved his wrist into the man's wrist a twisted smile on his face, "Let us just hope you wake back up."

Angelo was no longer paying attention, he had taken enough of this bullshit, plus a lot of bullshit on top of that. If anything he was tired and weak, and quite frankly, bored. If anything he just wanted to go home and drink himself a nice cold glass of beer, but he couldn’t do that. His body was beginning to grow heavy, his eyes beginning to close, and his throat was dry as the Sahara, as was his mouth. He couldn’t think of anything better but a glass of cold beer, and his companion back at home. Instead he was stuck here, on Ivory, with these, these, monsters. It sickened him more than he already was.
When Marie neared him he couldn’t help but flinch, she was a lot different than her “Daddy.” And oddly enough it scared him. Firstly, she was a girl, no matter how he looked at it, she was. It was disgusting, honestly. Second, she was too nice for what she was. She was a monster, like she didn’t know, and she was being kind to him. Third, she was under Pleasant's power. That bastard, but Angelo presumed that the girl was very submissive. Oh, Pleasant was in for a big surprise.
Angelo chose to ignore Pleasant, it was the best thing to do for his weakened mind right now. He wouldn’t be able to muster up a decent response if he had the opportunity to. Plus, he had a feeling it wasn’t the best thing to keep mouthing off to the people that weren’t going to let him die. Yea, not the best thing to do. So quietly Angelo sat, waiting for what would happen next, his eyes pleading into Marie’s as she stood close to him, running off the mouth about things he couldn’t piece together. Was she always this confusing? He’d just have to find out, now wouldn’t he.
Her teach him, he doubted a girl like him could even count to five on her fingers. What the hell could she teach him that he didn’t already know? She didn’t even look over the age of eighteen or nineteen, and this boy…this boy she called “Daddy” merely looked the age of twelve. Angelo was in too much pain to let the thoughts continue to wind their way in his mind. He left his mind black, only to merely observe what was happening or what was about to happen.
Though he hadn’t expected what did occur. Before he could resist Pleasant had his wrist pressed to Angelo’s mouth, the boy’s blood seeping through them and down his throat. The blood made his throat burn and itch. Lifting a hand he scratched, with no purpose, at his throat. His eyes closing as every second flew by. What the fuck was going on? But the warm, oddly delicious, burning blood kept seeping down his throat. Before he could even put two and two together, everything was black, silent.
All the memories of his childhood came flooding back, while his body lay limp on the beach sand. Memories of his family, his childhood, depression. Though the most vivid was the first time his father had ever touched him, the first time his mother began babying him, and of course the day he had killed both his parents. He was hungry for their death, he was tired of their shit, he couldn’t take the sheer torture he received from both of them. He wanted nothing more to be free. His mother was the easiest…she didn’t see the knife coming when he had asked for a hug, she only felt it, mere seconds after the embrace; falling to the floor with sheer terror in her eyes.
His father was harder. The man was much bigger, quicker, and a lot stronger than he was at seventeen. But after he let his guard down, let his father play with him, it was a lot easier to break through the barriers. Every emotion being satisfied, that killed him the most. Though as soon as his father collapsed beside him in the bed, the same knife used for his mother was traced on every feature of the man before it pierced through his flesh. The man screamed and fought, but in the end the knife had won the battle.
Light flicked behind his eyes, he quickly sat up, sweat rolling down his marble-like skin. His dark eyes glowing, why did he feel so damn hungry? Blinking several times to wake his eyes more, he glanced around. Everything seemed brighter and more vivid then it had before, everything smelled better than it had, and he was no longer weak from the lack of blood that had occurred. He remembered falling asleep, but had he really slept for hours? He certainly felt like he had. Where the hell was he? But he already knew, he was on the beach on Ivory Island. Looking around he saw the same two people, the blond girl, and the asshole of a kid. None of it was a dream, it was all real. “What, what did you do to me?”

Pleasant looked up as the man finally woke up, sitting like a little king on Marie's lap. Well, wasn't the bastard just so lucky that he actually survived the whole thing. Sure lucky, maybe it would distract Marie for a couple days and that was good enough for him. He liked the girl or else she wouldn't still be with him, but at times the girl was just a bit too much. "Well you win this one Marie," Pleasant said with the disappointment clear in his voice as he jumped from his seat on her lap.
Though now he was somewhat curious, more so about the man now that he had survived the whole thing. That and the whole communication thing that occurred between "parent" and "child". Marie's bond with him was quite strong, but how strong was this ones? Even if it were anywhere close to Marie's the man would fight it for all he could, Pleasant could see it already.
He walked over to the man that sat on the ground, almost eye level now at this height. "Exactly what you asked," Pleasant smirked, "You aren't dead now are you?" He paused for a moment, "Though I am not quite positive on the whole alive dead thing with us." His words ending heavy on the last of them, hopefully the man was a stupid as he looked and caught on to what Pleasant was implying.
Marie shot up from her seat now using that vampire speed she had become so accustomed to appearing what would have been a flash to a normal human. She smiled again at Angelo from over top Pleasant.
Pleasant glared at the man for a moment more before turning away from him, "Have fun Marie."
That was all Marie needed before she used that speed and strength of her vampire self to grab the new vampires hand taking the opportunity of his still "newborn" state. She pulled on his hand trying to get him to follow her into the woods. "Well come on, come on," she pulled on him, "Your new, you need to know things, and there is a limited amount of food on this island as it is."

Whether or not Angelo wanted to ignore them he could still hear them no matter how much he tried. If he was one of them, what exactly was he. He could see better, he felt stronger, and he could smell every fragrance that surrounded him. Angelo felt different, he felt revived. He placed a hand on his neck, the bleeding had stopped, it was almost as if nothing had happened, but he could still feel the mark that was now on his neck. He could feel the cold blood running through his body, he could still feel the burn on his throat, stronger. It was almost as if he had starved himself, he was hungry. But it was different then most hungers... it was a craving, a thirst that burned to his core. He wanted, he needed blood.
He couldn't say the word out loud, and in fact he didn't want to even think upon it, but in his mine one word burned as though it was carving itself into his brain. Vampire. He was a monster, and now he was stuck in this filthy body, this filthy life, forever. "You mean I'm one of you," he spoke, his voice more clear, no long a hint of cracking or wavering. Though as the little boy approached him he felt something really strong occur in side of him. It was as if his body was telling him that this little boy owned him, that this little boy was his boss. He didn't very much like that, so he masked it with a snarl, his eyes slitting as the boy continued. Angelo couldn't even believe that he was now under the power of Pleasant, and he knew he would fight it as much as possible. Even still, being under him, he wasn't about to submit himself.
When Marie pulled him he didn't fight it, he figured it wasn't worth it. She was going to help him find out who he was, what he had to do. He needed to know this stuff if he was going to survive here, because it was obvious it would be a long while before he could escape. Angelo followed behind the girl, the glowing glare still present, the snarl on his face looking as permanent as the glow. "What exactly do I need to know, miss?" He asked kindly, figuring that she had saved him from death, he may as well be nice to her... For now.

Pleasant only laughed at the statement that ended with the snarl, well he was coming to terms that he did pick up the odd ones like Marie for instance. It was a miracle that she was even touching that man's hands, that she would talk to him, though she had had over a hundred years to forget and more importantly mask her true feelings. The only thing that she never lost was that submissive state and Pleasant wasn't complaining about that at all.
Marie pulled Angelo through the trees, her pale feet masked with the mud and dirt of her previous explorations. She had stopped stopped this man from being killed and yet she couldn't even find it in herself as to why she had. She was just as hungry as Pleasant and yet here was her new "brother" easily following behind her with his hand in hers. It just didn't seem to click in that little blond head of hers, maybe he was right and time did make one forgive and more importantly forget and yet those years past still seemed so frighteningly close to her.
She looked over her shoulder with another smile as she continued to pull him along, "I'm Maire Boucher and in the terms of your new family, your older sister." Yes, finally someone, more importantly a man that she could rank below her if only in her mind. Marie stopped letting go of Angelo's hand to better face him thinking it would be much easier to explain all of this without any distractions and with the way these two men, more like two little boys, were already with each other she thought this would be best.
"Well the most important things," she paused for a moment. What were the most important things exactly and what were just side facts, ah well live and learn. "Well ya need blood, it may sound bad to you now but you'll either learn to love it or just become a shell of yourself which I've been told is extremely painful. Human blood is your best bet, animal blood kind of works but not to well, and then human food well thats only for the flavor and scent now." Marie sat in the dirt not caring at the moment about it considering all the things she had been through lately, her clothing would just have to suffer along with her. "Also, you don't age anymore and that becomes complicated if you put yourself out in the public eye to much though you won't have to worry much about that on this island considering the kelpies, incubus, succubus, daimons, and whatever else may be running about on this island," she paused look at him, "So you may come to need those fangs, speed, and strength that you now have." She took another pause, how come it didn't seem this much when she had gotten this talk? Maybe time had worn out more of her than she thought. "Anyways, back to important need to now information," she sounded so much like those little children shows she had found on television, if only they could make a special on new vampire children, "Garlic, water, crosses, they are all fine and won't do anything to you but the sun can after some time so no tanning, though you do not look like you would do such a thing." Marie listed off the things in her mind trying to see if she had forgotten anything before she pushed him out into the world, or at least this island, out on his own like a baby bird learning to fly.
"A few last things, your teeth and glowing eyes are a true giveaway to prey...I mean humans. So, you must hide them until the opportune time to strike as to not scare them off to early," she smiled once more at that, a good chase was always fun but that was an entirely different story and explanation, "The last and maybe most important thing, you can't get away from him. Sure, you might be able to run but you two will always have a connection in here." She pointed at her head, hoping that he got the idea because she truly was hungry and all this talking and explanations were not helping. "Well," she got up quickly turning him around, facing the trees, "that is all that you need for now, the rest you get to learn on your own and I suggest you hurry. The first feed is always the worst and the cravings and hunger could drive one insane. So, best of luck and all that." Marie pushed him ahead slightly trying to encourage him to move forward just like the mother bird she had now become.
Notes: Marie talks to bloody much at over 850 words.

It was all way too much for Angelo to handle, all this new information being thrown at him. He needed space to take it all in, he needed time. He couldn’t stop himself from listening to the submissive blond as she spoke, realizing that there was probably more to her than just a submissive blond that was being controlled by a sadistic little child. Angelo wasn’t going to concern himself in the affairs of their relationship, that was beyond his spectrum of need to know information. All he needed now were the basics in which to survive as his newly formed vampire self. Unfortunately his mind was pooling around a lot of different aspect of being a full fledged vampire. Now he was new to the world, but permanently a forty year old man with the wrong intentions.
He wasn’t really listening to Marie completely. He had heard key words which caused him to pay attention to several words after, but he wasn’t really paying attention. Angelo knew he should have been, this was probably information that would help him navigate as a vampire a lot better, but he didn’t really care. All Angelo wanted was to be alone to figure himself out, more than anything. He was confused, and with Marie running off the mouth about things that were probably important he was only getting more annoyed. It was a no wonder Pleasant let the girl take care of him, she would be able to get it out in one breath, he already knew this bullshit, and he didn’t want to have to deal with her childish, talkative, submissive self right now. Not after he had put up a fight, and would put up even more.
The words human blood, prey, and many others that involved feeding etched into his brain and caused him to feel more hungry than he had thought he was. His mouth watered as he though about it, trying his hardest to pick through the information. When she had finished speaking he got up to leave, though he had questions he didn’t feel like asking them so they went unanswered. If anything Angelo left Marie in the dark because he simply turned, without a single word, to walk away. Making his way through the forest in the warp speed that she had talked about. He felt more alive now than he ever had.
