Narai had escaped. That is the way that he had looked at it. He was recently eighteen and still wasn't safe from the sexual predators. Not that he had made mention of it to Chacha. He didn't want that to interfere with the government to allow his brother to come stay with him. It really was bothersome. Having to fill out all of that paperwork and wait. To be denied, or pending criteria, and having to reapply again. But he was away from all that now. And sadly he was away from his little brother too. But the last that he had spoken to him Chakri was in a good home so he wasn't too worried. Hopefully his brother's "Mom" would watch out for him. Hopefully she had noticed his penchant for older men and would end up putting a stop to it. It just wasn't safe.
Nana ran his fingers through his blonde hair. Something he had done to start over. A fresh look for a fresh start. And he'd had compliments on his hair. From girls. His own age. It was a breath of fresh air. Getting attention that was in the realms of normal. To him that was quite the accomplishment. But of course it was over with after having been stranded. But hey, he was still away from creepy old men. With that it still made it good day. And well, he tried not to focus on the past too much.
The boy had sat himself high in the branches of the tree, munching on a piece of fruit that he had picked. Despite being alone at least he had food. All in all it was a good day. One of his better days. He nibbled on his piece of fruit, taking out little bites to shape it like an animal. It was one of this silly habits that he had maintained from childhood. He would bite shapes into apples and leave them for Chacha to find.

He'd washed up from the boat wreck and his clothes had been absolutely soaked. Chacha had taken them off to dry but then there was a terrible rain storm. Then when he'd put them back on, the boy had slipped and fallen into a river. It seemed like fate hadn't wanted Chacha Yodsuwan to wear his clothing on this island.
But now Chacha was fully clothed. After having an encounter in the old village with a rather creepy looking old man that Chacha actually found oddly interesting, he was ready to have a moment to himself. The young teenager clutched onto his banged up skateboard. He was still really surprised that he'd managed to cling to the thing while this whole wreckage was going down. This board was expensive! His new family had bought it for him and there was absolutely no way that he was about to let it go to the ocean and this island.
He slapped his skateboard down against the trunk of a rather large tree, tilting his head to look up at the apples growing among the branches. Chacha's stomach was growling intensely and even though he wanted apples instead of steak, the boy began to climb that tree. Plucking an apple from the branch, he wiped it off on his shirt and took a bite. It was juicy and fresh. Chacha couldn't help but smile a little bit.
"Food, check.." The boy often spoke out loud to himself and had done so ever since he was a little boy. Often his older brother Narai would tell him that crazy people spoke aloud, but Narai never really gave him a hard time about it. Grasping onto the apple with his teeth, Chacha went to climb down from the tree. However, his footing slipped and he fell, landing on the ground with a thud and groan. "Stupid tree!" Wincing a bit, Chacha pulled himself to his feet.
He pulled the apple from his mouth and stared at it for a moment in silence. "You don't look like a dog.."

Narai had no idea that his little brother was on this island. He thought that Chacha was safe with his new family. That at least his little brother was happy. And that thought there made him happy. The idea that his brother was safe and happy was all that he needed. He honestly believed that his brother was with a good family. One that could take care of him and support him. One that could give Chacha all that he ever wanted or desired. Even though he had wanted Chacha to come live with him it would be better if he were safe and happy. After all this island wasn't the place to have Chacha staying with him.
So imagine his surprise when he heard his younger brother's voice. "Crazy people speak aloud." The words were spoken out of habit to the sound of his brother's voice. He glanced down through the branches of the tree but couldn't really see anything through the interlaced branches. But hearing the thud and groan he climbed down the tree after his brother. Narai took his time, making sure that his foot was fully placed upon a branch that would support him before slowly moving down. After all he didn't want to fall like his brother had.
Once he was near the ground he dropped out of the tree. He sat down next to his brother and tried to peek at the apple. "Not quite but maybe if you took a bit more away from right here." He pointed to a part of the apple. He was talking and acting as if he was back home with his brother. As if they had never been separated. Sure, it had surprised him to hear and see his brother in this place but he easily accepted it. Easily slipped back to a time when they were always together.

His body jarred a little in surprise, a soft gasp escaping from his lips. He looked up, eyes falling upon Narai. It really was his brother! Chacha smiled though that slightly surprised expression hadn't left his face yet. "Nana!" His voice had come out in more of a surprised breath and anything else.
It seemed that Narai couldn't get down from the tree fast enough. Chacha held his breath the entire time his brother was climbing down, wanting so badly to rush at him and hug him tightly until they both passed out from lack of air. Inhaling deeply once his older brother sat next to him, Chacha practically leaped forward to embrace him. "Nana!" He repeated himself, the apple laying forgotten and discarded on the grass next to the two of them.
The thirteen year old boy didn't let go, smiling through his hair as nuzzled his face happily against Narai's neck. "I'm so glad you're here! I'm not alone! I mean, there is that interesting man I met in the village ruins but it's not the same." After a few moments Chacha finally let go of his brother, leaning back so that he could stare at him properly. But then almost as soon as he did, Chacha regretted the decision and he was right back against his brother, kissing the corner of his mouth happily. "I missed you!"

Narai couldn't help laughing as he was practically lunged at. He hardly had time to sit down before his younger brother was clinging to him. He slipped his arms around the younger boy and hugged him. "Is your mom and dad here as well?" It would at least explain what Chacha was doing here if they were. At least then he would know that his brother was safe and well cared for. At least that is what his hope was. "Where are you staying at?" Okay, it wasn't much of a conversation but Narai was trying to at least get the basics. To find out what had been going on with his brother.
The mention of a man had Narai frowning. How many times did he have to warn his brother before he would learn? How many times would he have to bring up the past and remind Chakri that older men were bad? That he should be careful and stay away from them? Was his brother ever going to learn?
Narai took the small amount of time that he was given his space back in order to breath properly. But then Chacha was plastered to him again. Such a thing he was used to but not the kiss to the corner of his mouth. It actually had the muscle there twitching a bit. That really had been close to being something not at all appropriate. He just surmised it to his brother's excitement and the way that they were sitting. Nothing was really meant by it. After all he was too young for his brother if the ages of the men that he showed interest in were considered. "I missed you too Chacha." He smiled and hugged his brother, turning his head to kiss the other's cheek.

Ever since Narai ran away from their parents the two brothers had been separated and placed into new homes. Now that Narai was a legal adult and had moved out on his own, Chacha hadn't wanted to be separated anymore. His new parents were very loving to him, but Narai was his brother. He felt like they were meant to be together and that nothing should be able to stand in their way. "My mom and dad? No.. Well, maybe. I haven't seen them if they are." They were on the ship with him when it wrecked, but Chacha hadn't been able to find them since washing up on the beach.
At the mention of where Chacha was staying, the boy wrinkled his nose. When he spoke next, his voice was a bit incredulous but it was mostly just childhood attitue talking. "... What do you mean where am I staying? Have you seen this island? There's no where to stay!" Besides, Chacha was still smiling at his brother. He wasn't irritated in the slightest.
The kiss that Chacha had given to his brother was a purely natural instinct. He hadn't thought about it, or what Narai would think about it. If he loved his brother, what was wrong with kissing him? It just showed how much he was happy to see him. "Now we can be together like we wanted to without anyone bothering us!" Chacha beamed as he proclaimed this, finally crawling off of his brother and returning to his apple. He forgot about shaping it and now he just bit into it, crunching rather loudly on the juicy fruit.
"I managed to keep ahold of my skateboard. It was hard.. but I wasn't gonna let it wash away! Did you bring anything with you? How did you get here? What have you been doing?" The myriad of questions came stringing out of Chacha's mouth quickly as if he had to get them all out before a bomb went off and killed the entire island. His dark brown eyes were locked onto his brother, scanning over his blond hair and his nice smile. Chacha especially loved the twinkle in Narai's eyes, and his spark of determination at not letting what happened to the two of them bring him down. Chacha admired his brother completely. The way that he was looking at Narai could almost be misconstrued for something else.
