Claus was glad that Discord had showed him and his brother this place. Sure it was awesome to be living so close to the beach. But one got tired of the salt water after a while. It had felt nice to wash and swim in sweet water.
Now he came here as often as he could, especially at mid day when the sun was at its highest. Their mother had always told them to stay in the shade during that time of the day. Claus was aware that their mother knew what she was talking about, so he followed her advice even now when she wasn't around.
He wondered if they were looking for him and Lucas yet....and if they would ever find them.
But there was no point in dwelling on such thoughts. No. Claus would enjoy the present. He allowed his slender, bare body to sink into the water and sighed happily as it soothed some of his sunburnt skin.
The water was very clear, thereing making it very safe. One could see danger approaching long before it got there. Claus disliked the idea of water snakes and leaches. But so far he hadn't encountered either. He took a breath, then slipped under the surface, getting his hair wet. The blonde then came back up and shook his head from side to side before whiping water out of his eyes.
He swum out a little further, enjoying himself but keeping his eyes and ears very alert. Claus had to be careful, he was alone out here this time after all.

 * i look at you all, see the LOVE there that's SLEEPING(WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS)- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -It was a beautiful day outside. Yes, it was sweltering hot, but it didn't really matter. Sniffing at a few plants that lay beside him, Adonis allowed his big bushy red tail to gently swish back and forth. He was trying to sniff out the trail of some weird person or thing that had been following him, wondering if he were okay to turn back into a human. The scent that he'd picked up previous was running cold, and he allowed his small form to let some of the tension slip away.
It was at that moment that his keen nose picked up another scent. It wasn't normal for a red fox to be on this island, and it definitely wasn't normal for said red fox to want to chase a lizard.. but Adonis suddenly had the urge. His little body lurched forward as he caught the motion of the lizard out of the corner of his eye. At this point, he was letting his guard completely down, which was rare. His small paws landed with a tiny thud on the grass as he came through a clearing right beside the water fall. He paused, tail motionless, eyes watching for the lizard.. but it was gone.
The small fox let out a small huff of air. It became apparent that he wasn't going to find the lizard again. He sniffed at the air a little, in vain, before finally giving up. Sigh. Adonis supposed there wasn't anything left to do in this form, he might as well shift back. Unfortunately for him, Adonis failed to notice the naked Claus Blaque swimming in the pool next to the water fall. If he had, Adonis wouldn't have even dared what he was about to dare.
Slowly, the small fox's form began to twist and morph into something resembling a human shape. When he was finished, Adonis stood there in all of his naked glory. He looked down at himself, back to the waterfall, swearing underneath his breath when he realized he'd left his clothing behind. "Dammit!"

One moment he was swimming peacefully, thinking himself alone, and the next he found himself looking at a cute red fox. He went still, not wanting to scare it off, and watched as it was probably trying to find some food. Claus wished he'd brought a snack with him. Ah well. He'd think to bring something next time, maybe the fox would come again.
He'd always liked foxed. They were predators, but they still managed to be cute. He'd never been too fond of wolves, especially since waking up on this island. They could hear them howling out there, and sometimes he would wake up, expecting a pack of them to come into their little home and tear them apart.
The boy didn't move a muscle, gray-blue eyes on the red fox. He was smiling, and looked somewhat peaceful. His expression changed however when the fox started...morphing?
Claus blinked once, twice, not believeing his eyes. The red fox was changing shape? Brows pulled together in confusion, but otherwise he didn't move. The blonde wanted to see what the fox would turn into, and he didn't want to scare it away before he could see. The animal seemed unaware of his presence.
He couldn't believe his eyes! The fox had turned....
"Adonis?!"
The boy squinted, then rubbed his eyes. Maybe he wasn't seeing right. Maybe he'd stayed out in the sun too long, or gotten some strange tropical disease. The fox couldn't have actually turned into Adonis! Could it..?

* i look at you all, see the LOVE there that's SLEEPING(WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS)- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Adonis had been standing there in all of his naked glory, contemplating on where he could have possibly left his clothing when a very surprised voice called out his name. Light colored eyes widened in complete shock. He knew that voice.. it sounded like Claus! Instantly, Adonis was almost frozen in place, afraid to turn around. Claus had just seen him shift from a fox into a human! Swearing lightly underneath his breath, Adonis slowly turned.
All nakedness had flown out his mind. It was the absolute last thing he was thinking about. So when he turned to look at Claus, there was complete full frontal nudity. Light blue eyes landed on the surprised looking blonde, and for a moment Adonis was at a loss for words. How in the blue hell does someone explain something like this off? Should he laugh and suggest that Claus stop drinking the drugged water? That was ridiculous. The water was so obviously not drugged.
Adonis sighed, running his hand through his hair like a man who was just caught smoking a cigarette after his girlfriend said she'd leave if he had one more. "Hey, Claus.." Play it cool, right? That would definitely be the best course of action. Perhaps if he played it cool, Claus wouldn't even mention what he'd just seen.
"How's it goin'?"

Adonis turned toward him and Claus was now a hundred percent sure that this was who he thought he was. It was Adonis! And he'd just turned from a fox to the way he looked now! What the hell was going on?!
His expressive face displayed every bit of confusion he was feeling, brow slightly wrinkled, lips parted, eyes a little wider than normal. What the fuck....?
Then the blue haired boy turned and for a few moments Claus forgot what he'd been so shocked about. He'd just been presented with the sight of Adonis' bare, gorgous body. Claus even managed to swallow as gray-blue eyes slipped from Adonis face to wander down over his fit frame.
His gaze paused at all the right places and he felt his cheeks warm considerably. Claus was absolutely in lust.
For the first time since coming to this pool of water, he cursed the fact that it was so transparent. He bit his lip and hoped that Adonis wouldn't notice he nude state...but most importantly wouldnt notice his excitement.
"I'm good..."
He shook his head and remembered his shock once he realized that Adonis had spoken and he'd responded automatically.
"What are you?" it was Claus' turn to be blunt.

It was obvious that the blond was taking in all of the right sights and this amused Adonis. He couldn't help but smile, standing there unashamed as he practically allowed Claus to keep whatever kind of glimpse that he wanted.
However, when he heard the others words float up to his ears, Adonis was brought very quickly back to the situation at hand. He'd just shifted in front of Claus. For a moment he contemplated lying, but thought better of it. What good would lying about something like this do? It would only make Claus not trust him and that was something that Adonis so desperately did not want. Lately he'd grown to like Claus quite a lot and didn't want to compromise whatever kind of relationship they could have by lying.
Besides, what was the problem in shape shifting into a red fox anyway? Lifting his hand up to scratch at the back of his head, Adonis let out a small sigh. He shrugged, taking a step forward as he dropped his hand to his side. "A shape shifter." He didn't know whether or not Claus knew exactly what a shape shifter was. Adonis guessed that he didn't, otherwise Claus wouldn't have even needed to ask what was going on.
Then Adonis suddenly had a mini panic attack inside of his mind. What if Claus was frightened by this? What if he was repulsed? What if he turned away and refused to talk to him? Adonis' light colored eyes widen as he moved to the edge of the water as if he were about to just walk right in and make his way to the blond male wading in front of him. "Please don't let this turn you away.. I'm not a bad person."

Claus was having a hard time focusing on what his question had been as he waited for Adonis to answer. Of course it didn't take all that long for the blue haired boy to respond, but to Claus it felt like longer before he was feeling anxious as well as turned on.
'A shape shifter.'
Gray-blue eyes blinked in surprise, even though he'd already guessed at that. He blamed it on the distraction that was Adonis' naked body. Oh man...Claus released a breath and felt his cheeks warm.
A shape shifter. He had to focus.
Before he could come to terms with this sudden information however, Adonis spoke again, 'Please don't let this turn you away.. I'm not a bad person.'
The blonde found himself blinking again. A bad person? Strangely that hadn't even crossed his mind. Either Claus was very naive, or he'd just grown to trust Adonis that much. It also helped that he appreciated that the blue haired boy had spoken the truth rather than trying to lie about it.
He reached up and ran a hand through his wet hair, humming under his breath as he tried to mull over the fact that Adonis....the boy he wanted so damn much....could change shape. Could change into a red fox...
Claus wished he could sit and think, sitting always helped him clear his head and think better. But he was chest deep in water, and getting out of the water was a no no. Though he wasn't staring over Adonis body as he was a few moments ago, his body was still excited.
Finally he nodded, and a little smile moved over his lips, "I believe that you're not a bad person."

He stood there, fully naked, eyes washing over the absolutely beautiful male that was wading in the water. Claus was gorgeous.. with his sparkling eyes and entrancing smile. Not to mention he had a beautiful body. He couldn't help but think that Claus was the one who deserved the name Adonis, not himself.
Adonis stood there on the edge of the water, so close that his toes were touching the cool liquid. Waiting for Claus to answer him was like complete torture. Adonis would be lying to himself and to the entire world if he thought for even one moment that he didn't want Claus more than he'd ever wanted anything else in his life. He didn't know how he would be able to handle it if the blond decided that he never wanted to speak to Adonis again.
When those sweet words of semi-acceptance floated to his ears, Adonis smiled widely in relief. Alright, so Claus hadn't said that he wasn't bothered by the fact that he could shift into a fox but at least he confirmed that he didn't think Adonis was a bad person. That was one step in the right direction. "I would never hurt you.." At those words, Adonis began to slowly walk into the water.

Adonis words, the sound of his voice, even his mere presence seemed to be wrapping a web of spells around him. How could he react so calmly to the news that the boy he was starting to fall for was a shap shifter!? Even while making this realization, he didn't feel worry or panic. Claus had never met a real shifter before, not until now. For all he knew...they could weave spells as well as change shape!
However as his gray-blue eyes washed over Adonis' form yet again, he shook his head a little at himself. No, Adonis wouldn't put him under a spell. He just didn't seem like that type of person...
A little voice in the back of his head nagged, asking Claus how he could be so sure that the person Adonis had allowed Claus to see was his true self. The blonde pushed the nagging to the back of his brain and found himself smiling yet again at the blue-haired boy...
"It's a lot to take in. But...I don't hate you or anything..."
Lucas would think he was being stupid. But Lucas wasn't here, and Adonis was his decision to make. Well, Adonis was not a decision. He was a person. Claus scolded himself mentally for the way he'd put that particular thought. The decisions in regards to Adonis were his to make, not Lucas'. There...that was better...
Would Adonis still like him if he knew just what an oddball Claus could be? He wasn't sure, and he felt a little twist of worry form in his gut.
It faded however when he saw the blue-haired boy start moving toward him, stepping into and through the water. His body suddenly was all excited again, and he felt his cheeks warm. Gods, was it legal to want someone this badly...?

The desire was so apparent. How could he not tell? The water was pristine and crystal clear. Even though just the mere thought of what Claus had going on over there made his mind race with fifty different ideas all at once, Adonis did his best to keep his body posture clean and his facial expression littered with the worry that was still overcoming all other emotions.
As he slowly made his way into the water, fueled by the fact that Claus wasn't moving away as he advanced, Adonis realized that all he really wanted to do was to reach out and hold Claus. But would Claus let him? Just because he wasn't shrinking away as he moved closer didn't mean that the blond was going to let Adonis touch him. Even so, Adonis wanted it so badly.
What he wanted even more than he wanted to touch Claus was for Claus to accept him for who he was. Adonis wanted Claus to be okay with the fact that he was a shape shifter. Above all, he wanted Claus to truly believe that Adonis would never hurt him intentionally. Even though the two boys hadn't known each other for very long, Claus was quickly becoming the only person on this island that Adonis felt like he could trust. He didn't want that trust to be broken, and Adonis realized that by keeping his shifting ability a secret from Claus, he may have broken it.
By now Adonis had slipped into the water so deeply that he was standing very close to Claus. His light colored eyes washed over the other as they had done so many times before. Suddenly, against his previous thoughts, Adonis reached out and touched the younger male. He gathered Claus into his arms, hoping that he wouldn't pull away. Just the mere grazing of their bare chests sent a jolt of electricity through his body. "I want so badly for you to accept me, Claus.. accept me and be okay with it.. Because I feel like I need you." His voice was a low whisper against Claus' hair. "This island is crazy. People here are crazy. We need each other."

Claus lowered his eyelids a little as he watched Adonis approach him, trying hard to keep his mind on the issue at hand. The blue haired boy was a shifter. A shifter. It was still a shock, something he'd never expected, but he didn't feel any hint of disgust or dislike toward Adonis.
Then suddenly the other boy was standing before him, and he felt arms slips around him and pull him close. Claus' eyes widened and he was going to pull back out of instinct. Luckily his mind registered that this was Adonis, and not some stranger...
He felt the other boy's chest touch his own and had to bite his lip in order to keep quiet. Claus wanted to just forget about having to process this information. He just wanted to lose himself in Adonis. The blone wanted to slip his hands in that azure hair, wanted to crush his lips to the shifter's.
His mind conjured numerous questions...all in relation to what he'd just found out that Adonis was. But he pushed them back, telling himself that he could just ask them later.
Slender palms pressed to the shifter's chest, then slid up between them before slipping around Adonis' neck. Claus pressed his forehead to the other boy's collarbone fore a moment, then tilted his head back and up, looking at at the shifter.
"I accept you."
