Leviathan hissed through her teeth as she looked through her telescope that she made of ice, seeing her sister, Lucifer spending time with Satan. She slammed it against the ground, causing it to shatter into millions of pieces. She had taken refuge in her palace within her layer of hell, residing over the sinners who had been envious of others in life. She had made it completely of ice which to most would be uncomfortable, but it suited her.
She loathed how whenever she fought with her little sister, Satan always took her side which is why she fled to her only safe place. 'What does she have that I don't' she thought, leaning against the wall of her bedroom, looking into the mirror she had there. She was pretty enough to some people perhaps, but she didn't see that. All she saw was that her younger sister was far prettier which sent her into a fury.
'I was born first, I should be the one at his side' she thought, scratching her nails down the wall. How she'd love to take that vain little wench down a peg or two, make her feel as bad as she felt since she was born. Before she could plan something, she heard something or someone down on the ground floor. 'Who dares come into my domain uninvited?' she thought, growling low in her throat.
She summoned a very sharp and big icicle in order to impale who was trespassing, and use them as a lesson to all you don't mess with Leviathan. She slowly made her way down the stairs, making sure she was quiet to give her the element of surprise. She peered around the corner, and spotted her prey. 'Now, I've got you' she thought, creeping up behind him and sticking the pointed edge to the intruder's back. "Just who do you think you are, coming into my home without my permission?" she said in a venomous tone of voice.

This place gave him the chills, literally. The single button of his suit jacket did little to keep out the cold and he constantly tugged down his sleeves. Doing his best not to slip, Belphegor wandered the corridors of the ice palace, unable to resist the urge to slide across the slick floors when he thought no one was there to see him. He had come to visited his sister, Leviathan; closest to him in age and so much more. Slight concern crossed his mind - though not his face: hidden behind his cheeky smile whenever his siblings were around - why she had chosen to hide herself away in her castle again as she often did but when the sound of shattering ice stung his ears he knew a pretty good reason why.
Same reason as always. Belphegor's eyes rolled with a heavy sigh and shrug as he turned in the direction of the stairs. Sibling rivalry was always there but between Leviathan and Lucifer there was something much deeper and darker. It was hard to ignore the green flames of jealously that raged in Leviathan's eyes. Leviathan's beautiful eyes. So filled with envy that she was blinded to those around her. Those who cared about her. With her in a Lucifer-Satan triangle, there was nothing left for Belphegor to do but pick up the pieces every time she smashed something.
The sloth demon twirled as he reached the bottom of the staircase, peering down the halls once more looking for his sister before he considered ascending to her bedroom. She'd hardly be impressed if he came uninvited but there wasn't much he could do as now as he felt the cold sting of ice against his back and the fiery hiss of breath against the back of his neck that almost made his knees tremble. "Is that the way you treat all your visitors, Levi? No wonder there aren't any!" Belphegor joked, a wide grin plastered on his face despite the feeling she wouldn't appreciate the humour or the affectionate nickname he adorned all his siblings with. "Aww, come on Leviathan, it's just me...."

Leviathan lowered the icicle, letting it drop to the floor which it blended back in. "Oh, it's you Belphegor" she said softly. Though she was annoyed that he intruded on her sanctuary and joking about it to boot, she was a bit glad he came to check on her though she never understood why he did. It was the same pattern, Lucifer and her argued, Satan scolded her, and she came into the palace only to be found by her older brother. She lifted her hand and two chairs formed from the ice. As she slid into her chair, she motioned Belphegor to do the same.
"So, is there a reason you've come or is it the same as always? To check on your silly little sister" she said as a bitter laugh escaped her lips. She didn't like showing her vulnerable side to her siblings, it made her feel weak and pathetic yet for some reason, she could be this way around Belphegor.
She did get a bit irritated when he called her Levi, but a small part of her enjoyed it. "It's been a while since you and I have seen each other, how have you been?" she asked, resting her head on her chin, her eyes staring intently at her older brother. She had to admit he was handsome though in her own opinion, he didn't hold a candle to her beloved Satan.

He was relieved when she lowered the icicle and a relaxed sigh escaped his lips. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and in a jealous rage Leviathan could and would hurt someone. And he feared it was most likely to be him - yet that was always outweighed by his concern for her. "Does there have to be a reason for me to visit my little sister?". He bowed his head in thanks and sat back in the chair, shivering slightly as he reclined. He wasn't too keen on the cold; feathery black wings folded in tight beneath his jacket. Though it had never happened - and hopefully never would - he was not particularly keen on the idea of them freezing together.
"It has been a while. I'd be lying if I said I had done anything significant. As you can probably imagine, there's not much going on in Beldonia" he explained. Belphegor, the sloth daimon, ruling over the hell of lazy sods so there was nothing going on. "Beldonia sounds a bit girly doesn't it?" he laughed, "Belphegorland? Is that better? You should come visit sometime" questioning his sister. It was evident that his brothers and sisters were not interested in his energetic and relaxed approach. They were much too dark and serious. Giving up with a sigh, he peered at Leviathan with a sympathetic smile, knowing more weighed on her mind.
"You're not silly, dear sister and you know why I'm here Levi, are you going to tell me what happened this time?" Belphegor asked warmly. He knew exactly how she felt. It wasn't silly. To feel so strongly for someone who felt for someone else. For him there was nothing else to do than get on with it. It wasn't in his nature to dwell on it. But how much longer could he carry on like this? Everytime he would listen to Leviathan pour heart her out for Satan (albeit a little less dramatically than he put it for she was much too proud for such a show of emotion) and everytime push him away to strength his disappointment that he never had or would stand a chance.

"Beldonia is a bit girly, but Belphegorland just sounds lazy though that probably fits with your sin" she said dryly, fighting back the urge to smile. She would never admit that she liked his approach to things, being so goofy and relaxed as he was. "But I should come to visit more often after all, you do make it a point to come here and visit little old me" she added softly. Her eyes became saddened when he asked what had happened between her and Satan again. The memory still being fresh in her mind made tears sting her eyes, trying so hard not to let them fall.
"Today, I was suppose to spend time with Satan, and she came uninvited. I have no doubt it was on purpose, and when I argued with her on why she needed to go back home, he took her side so I came back here" she said in a small voice, holding back a sob that threatened to escape from her lips.
She didn't ever want her siblings to think she was weak since she was on the younger end of the scale, but yet with Belphegor, she didn't feel much of a need to hide her pain. She wasn't sure why she felt she could be as open as she was with him, but it was something very comforting to her.
She cast her gaze to the ground, allowing a few tears fall from her eyes. She finally allowed her sobs to come full force causing her slender shoulders to shake. "I don't understand, I loved him first, but yet, he only sees her. Why am I not good enough?" she asked softly, keeping her gaze to her feet. She hated herself right now, letting her pride go, and crying in front of her brother, but most of this she kept inside as most of her siblings she felt didn't care too much about her.

Belphegor rose from his seat, taking the gap between him and his sister in one stride, gently dropping down on to one knee in front of her. "Don't cry Levi...", he whispered gently, clearing her hair from her face. His fingertips brushed softly against her cheeks, catching the rolling tears. He's a fool not to love you. Anyone would be a fool not to love you" he reassured Leviathan. Belphegor slipped off his suit jacket, shaking his black feathery wings free from being folded tightly upon his back. His hands slipped down to her trembling shoulders and pulled his sister into a hug. Wings flapped silently, wrapping both daimons in an embrace. He longed to do more for her, console her in ways that only a true love could but he dare not. His red-headed beauty hung in his arms, crying over the same heartbreak she had experienced several times before and he couldn't do anything about it because she could never love him.
Belphegor drew back, staring at her intently. A smile crept across his lips as he quickly glanced around. "If you cheer up for me, Leviathan, I'll show you something I've never shown anyone before." he bargained, hoping to bring her out of her mood just a little. Each of the seven siblings had been blessed with an element when they were born. Belphegor had been gifted the power of earth. At the wave of a hand he had the power to make the earth shake and crumble beneath him. But equally, he had mastered control of the more subtle facets of his element. "Watch..." he indicated with a nod to his curled fist. As he uncurled his hand, from the centre of his palm grew out a red bud. It began to blossom in seconds as it grew from his hand, leaves and stem and all until it had completely manifested. With a wide mouthed grin, he offered the flower to Leviathan. "But you can't tell anyone! It's got to be our secret..." Belphegor swore. His lax attitude and sin was not highly regarded amongst his all-powerful siblings and he had no hope of them every taking him seriously if news got around that he was summoning flowers for girls.

Leviathan buried her face in her brother's chest as she cried, feeling his warmth envelope her as his wings wrapped around her, pressing her body close to his. She felt so safe in his arms as if nothing would ever hurt her again. Though this feeling she felt with Belphegor around was one of the reasons she didn't like him. It confused her, and when she gets confused, she gets angry, but right now she wanted to savor the feeling of being in his arms. 'I shouldn't be feeling like this. I love Satan right?' she thought.
When she felt him pull away from her, she felt some sadness wash over her, but then she looked up and noticed he was giving her a flower, her cheeks turned almost as red as her hair. She gently took it from him, and said in a soft voice, "Thank you, Belphe." She glanced up, and soon found herself looking into Belphegor's eyes. How could she have noticed before how beautiful they were, but once that thought crossed her head, she turned redder.
'What's wrong with me? I'm not lust, I shouldn't be like this' she thought to herself. Whether she had realized or not, she had began feeling very strange and intense feelings for her older brother, Belphegor. She's been denying it since she didn't want to believe she was a fickle with men as Asmodeus was. Perhaps it was those feelings that caused her to make her next move. To thank her brother, she leaned over, placing a feather soft kiss on his cheek. As she pulled away, she whispered, "You can't tell anyone about that."

It had been all he ever wanted, for as long as he could remember, the feelings of her gentle kiss against his skin. The warmth radiated though his body and his stomach erupted in butterflies. So many urges overwhelmed him. He struggled to fight back the burning desire to pull her close to him and kiss her tenderly, to stroke her hair and trace the contours of her body. “I wouldn’t dream of it…” he coughed, choking on his reply. For what possible reason would he want to tell any of the others? The love he felt for Leviathan was private, something he had kept hidden to himself for a long time (though no doubt it was incredibly obvious to everyone else observing him) and he certainly was not going to tell that bunch of idiots.
Besides, it would never last. The butterflies in his stomach began to fall like lead balloons. Despite his feelings for her, anything she felt for him was clouded by her love for Satan and equally as much, her hatred of Lucifer. That feeling of her kiss would last forever for him but for her, he feared, this moment – their moment- would mean nothing more to her the next time she laid eyes on Satan. He held his bright green eyes shut, trying to hold back the sadness for his and her sakes. “Come on Lev, let me take you out – it won’t do you any good to be moping around in here all day.” he offered, getting to his feet and offering her his hands to help her up. Black wings flexed from his back, stretching them for use. Power wise, Belphegor lacked behind his sibling’s brute strength but what he could do that only Lucifer could do also, was fly. It was something he alone to treat her to. “I promise I won’t drop you.”
ooc. Gah! Sorry it is so short, I was running out of ideas T__T

Leviathan took Belphegor's hands, and stood up from her chair. "I'd really like that, and you're right, it's not doing me any good to stay here" she said softly, looking up at her brother. It seemed the more she was around Belphegor, the more she saw beyond what her and her siblings no about him. Sure he was a relaxed a majority of the time, but she'd be stupid not to miss flickers of sadness in his eyes especially when he was near her.
'If I make him feel so bad, why on earth does he still come here' she thought to herself, entwining her fingers with his as they walked out of her palace. Whenever she was around him, it seemed all the anger, envy, and spite she felt melted away. Perhaps it was because he was just so tender and genuine with her that it was hard to hang on to such negative emotions.
'Today, I'll let them go, and ignore them. I just want to be happy even if it won't last' she thought, resting her head tenderly on his shoulder. Despite the fact she was still confused on how she felt towards her older brother, her heart was slamming against her rib cage as she waited to be flown away from her home.

He squeezed her hand in gentle reassurance as they left the palace of ice. Smiling softly, he placed a delicate kiss on her forehead when he felt her recline. “And where would my lady care to go?” Belphegor asked, dropping her hand and rolling up the sleeves of his shirt. Conveniently all the shirts he owned had large slits cut down the back for which his wings protruded. His face screwed up for a moment and he stared intently for a moment as if in deep concentration. ”I hope you don’t mind…” the daimon giggled, mischief dancing across his face and alighting a spark in his eyes as he faced Leviathan. The movement was quick and unavoidable as Belphegor dropped down, his arms scooping up her legs and pulling her body in towards him in an almost bridal like carry. Wings beat down heavily, lifting them from the ground in one swoop into the cool air at speed. Holding her tight, he shielded her face from the wind as they climbed higher.
The heavy flapping of his wings gave way to silent soaring. He loosened his grasp on her, enough for her to survey the lands that passed beneath them. It’s hard to imagine hell. For most it would be deep chasms of fire and brimstone, he would have imagined. They were always the thoughts and fears that plagued the mortal mind of hell and that imagine began to fade once who had passed Satan’s domain. The edge of Leviathan’s domain grew close, her palace shrinking and the sheets of ice giving way and rising into the mountains of greed – marvellous ranges of golds, silvers and all the precious gems one could want (though it was never enough for greed). The one precious gem to him he held tight in his arms as he weaved past the mountains of his younger brother.
The abode of Belphegor was much simpler and understated than the more common palaces of his siblings. Built by his own hands, the small wooden cabin would soon come into view as the bountiful lands of Mammon gave way into lush green pastures, covered over by forests with luscious canopies in which lay entwined in the vines the souls of the lazy ravaged by serpents. They began to drop slowly, landing with a soft thud in the clearing before his home. Trees towered around them and one could almost be blinded by the rainbow of plants that grew within the wood. “It must have been a while since you’ve been here, no?” he enquired with a puff, pretending that she had been a heavy burden (though she could never be) as he settled her down, making sure she was okay.

She buried her head in space between his neck and shoulder to hide her blush as they took off in the air. Normally she'd be terrified of being up so high, but she felt safe with him. She felt her heart sink a bit as they passed over Satan's domain, but it quickly passed at they reached Belphegor's. It was such a lush and lovely compared to their siblings which while some were filled with lavish palaces were also wastelands just like hers. As her feet touched the ground, she looked around, exploring her surroundings a bit. She placed her hand on the base of the trunk on one of the trees surrounding his home.
"It's really lovely, I've almost forgotten how beautiful this place is" she said, a gentle smile forming on her face. Next to her palace, this place she considered her second safe place though she didn't come here probably because she was unsure of what she felt for him.
She sat down under the tree and patted a spot next to her, wanting her brother to be near. It was a strange sort of feeling she felt around him. It almost felt like it did when she was around Satan, but different in a way. It was such confusing feelings that caused her to push Belphegor away, not to mention she didn't think he could ever possibly truly love her. After all, she was the sin that people refused to speak of because of her dark nature. She didn't realize the pensive expression that had begun to show on her face as she got lost in her thoughts.
