Jessica was running her hand through the water, brushing her fingers lightly against the sand underneath. Her hair covered her face, a dark brown with a hint of completely natural purple. To humans, it would look like she had died faint purple streaks into her hair but many other supernatural creatures would guess that the color was natural. Hearing a sound, she suddenly jerked her head, narrowing her eyes as she searched the beach. Witch eyes, they were referred as, although of course Jessica wasn't a witch. She scoffed at the idea. They were were purple, much darker then her hair, and ringed on the inside and outside by a nearly black purple color. The rest of her facial appearances could only be described as beautiful in a harsh way: a sharp chin and a small, upturned nose.
Now, where did the sound come from? Jessica wondered, peering around curiously. She did not worry about humans--her long hair covered her ears. Jessica ran her tongue along her teeth, feeling her sharp canines extend against her tongue. She hated using her fangs but she wasn't stupid; she would use them if needed, like any other succubus.

The sand felt good under toe, Charlotte wriggled her toes a smile splayed on lips as she looked down at the ground spotting a red crab scuttle across the golden grain. She bit her lip as the smile grew into a grin and Charlotte ran after the little creature, it didn't get far and soon the crab was in the blonde's grasp. The crab pinched her and the youth released a shriek, dropping the crab but it held on with its pincher to Charlotte's thumb. The girl squealed and she began to wave her hand frantically until the sea critter released its hold and was flung across the beach. Charlotte's brow furrowed as she examined the puncture wound on her poor thumb. It wasn't that bad, it was slightly cut on the inside but on the outside the crab had held onto the nail.
It stung though and Charlotte put it in her mouth, sucking on the red finger. Amber eyes looked up and spotted another girl near the water. If she had just watched her meeting with the crab she must think Char pretty silly, dancing and screaming in a circle. Charlotte took her free hand and waved at the other. Oh please don't think I'm crazy...

Jessica frowned at the girl and stood up in a move that looked easy and effortless. She definitely wasn't a vampire and didn't move like a shifter or a succubus or anything so she was probably human. When the girl waved, Jessica nodded in response and crossed over the sand with bare feet, stubbing her toe on a rock. Shit, she hissed to herself and then continued on until she was a few steps from the girl.
I'm Jessica and what would your name be? Jessica asked, her charisma automatically switching on. Jessica flashed the girl a sharp-toothed smile, her fangs still extended because she hadn't bothered to retract them. She knew that it was careless but she could easily retract them and make it seem like Charlotte was simply loosing her mind because if Jessica had to show them again, the fangs would be gone with only dull, flat human teeth in their place. Closer to the girl, Jessica examined Charlotte with a friendly expression but the examination critical. She had blond hair and apparently she enjoyed torturing poor crabs. Or at the very least, playing with them 'till they hurt her. Jessica couldn't help but comparing the two of them, as she always did when she met someone. Apparently, this girl didn't really care what people saw her doing stupid things but Jessica on the other hand wouldn't let anyone see her running after a crab or screaming.

Amber hued orbs with a tint of gold tracked the other's movement as she picked her way towards her. She watched as Jessica came noting the way she held herself. The other had the airs of royal person, the way she carried herself automatically made Char slightly intimadated. The girl took her thumb out of her mouth and examined the wretched thing, it was throbbing that much but still was red and sore. Charlotte blew air out of her mouth, causing her bangs to stir. Running her tongue over the her top row of teeth the youth straightened her posture. No way would she be intimated by this chick!
Jessica... so that was what her name was, how fitting. It seemed most stuck up girls had that name, well all the ones Charlotte knew. She smiled though, best to give the other the benefit of the doubt. Good thing she wasn't a vampire! Wait, what was that? Her gaze flicked onto Jessica's face, studying the features and stopping at the teeth. Fangs? The question popped out before Char could stop it. "Oh please say your not a vampire, I already had a nasty run in with one last night!"

Jessica's purple eyes widened in delight. So, this girl knew about vampires! A vampire? Jessica repeated innocently and when her fangs were fully retracted, she grinned at Charlotte. Running her tongue along the teeth for the girl to see. No fangs, see? Then Jessica lost the smile and leaned towards Charlotte, her nostrils flaring as if she was smelling the female. Of course, she wasn't but she enjoyed freaking out humans that obviously weren't completely oblivious to the creatures around them. Mmm...You smell good, Jessica lied, because she really wasn't close enough to smell anything, and then said, But you haven't told me your name. It is only polite that when one person introduces themselves you do the same. Jessica rocked back onto her heels, looking perfectly sweet and harmless again, her purple eyes still huge on her heart sharped face and a friendly smile quirking her lips. She wondered how Charlotte knew about vampires, human as she was. Jessica mentally slapped herself. Of course, she had 'had a nasty run-in with one the previous night.' Jessica really needed to work on her hearing problem. Most of the time, she listened to people selectively, only picking out words here and there to pick together the conversation.

Charlotte stuck out her tongue, playfully pushing the other away from her when she went to sniff her. "Oh I'm not stupid, your no vampire! No... your something else aren't you?" She smirked, crossing her arms. What could this Jessica be if not human? Nor vampire? Charlotte sucked on her lower lip as she tried to figure it out, staring into those deep purple eyes. "Oh I know what you are! An incubus! Or is it succubus? I can never get it right..." She sighed shrugging, oh what did it matter? Those supernaturals weren't really a threat to humans. Then Jessica went off about how Charlotte had forgotten to introduce herself. She rolled her honey orbs good humoredly, and stuck out a hand. "I'm Charlotte Greene, or you can just call me Char. Sadly I'm nothing special, just your average blood slave." She said ending with a smirk, how would the other like that? Charlotte didn't exactly feel pride with what she was catorgorized as but hey whatever.

Jessica frowned at Charlotte, playing along, but the expression didn't last long before relaxing. Succubus. Incubus are the males. So she did know about more then just vampires. Impressive. Some humans were annoying ignorant. Well, nice to meet you, Charlotte Greene, Jessica responded kindly, taking the offered hand. Slave shmave, she added without a second thought. Vampires rather annoyed her too, our at least the cliche ones. Transylvania accents, long robes, red eyes, and blood dripping from their face. Well. Jessica actually had never met any like that but she would be willing to bet that some were like that. What is a helpless girl like you doing on a deserted beach like this one? Jessica asked, waving a small hand at the beach of sand and cold waves. Unlike Charlotte, Jessica wasn't defenseless. She had her teeth and more experience at what to do in an attack. Unless Charlotte had a weapon with her. Jessica eyed her warily, searching for said weapon but if Charlotte did have one, it was concealed.

She smiled in turn, laughing inwardly at almost calling Jessica a male. She was glad to meet her? Psssh ya right! Charlotte was just human, nothing special. So far though Jessica was okay, nothing too shabby or too snooty for the blonde's taste. But Jessica's last comment rubbed Char the wrong way. The youth let out a snort, "Psssh, defenseless my ass! I'd give a supernatural a good fight if it came down to it!" She said matter of factly crossing her arms once more and standing up a little straighter even if it didn't do much good for her height, which was still pretty average and not that all intimadating looking. "And even if it's none of your concern I was just bored is all. If ya haven't noticed there isn't much to do so I came down to here." She added, wondering why she was explaining herself to a stranger. Charlotte ran her gaze over Jessica, "And what about you then? What are you doing out here on the beach, dare tell me?

Jessica sucked on the inside of her lip, nodding and easily going along with what Charlotte said. Of course, it's just that most humans are too determined to believe that nothing out there will hurt them, even when they have had a bad experience. Jessica smiled, to herself, and the smile was a sad, bitter smile. Charlotte was talking about how boring everything was. I agree with how little there is to do. I like coming down here to just be by myself and think. Plus, I love water. As she spoke, Jessica's gaze darted to the water, almost longingly. But she was talking to a human so she looked back at Charlotte. So. Now that we're both here, what do you say we do something? Unless you want to stand here and talk the day away. Jessica wrinkled her nose at the thought. She liked moving around, even if it was just bouncing from one foot to another but she always restrained herself when she was talking to others. It was rude because many would think that you would rather be doing something else then talking with them.
