WHAT.IF.I.WANTED.TO.BREAK?!.laugh.it.all.off.in.your.face.what.would.you.do..what.if.i.fell.to.the.floor.couldn't.take.this.anymore.WHAT.WOULD.YOU.DO?!************ The island held both things that were comforting and less than so, mainly the fact that it withheld Cathedral with in it's white-sanded beaches. Perhaps it was only that, only that to lapse his judgment, because of that stupid girl; He'd like to think so, but there was nothing that would ever make him completely like the place. Not as long as he was stuck there, and he didn't plan to be here too long. Subterfuge may have had other plans in mind.
One couldn't judge this island based solely on his perceptions, being as askew as they were. Rahovart seemed to think different than the humans, than the shifters, than the vampires, a different kind of view on this world. Those bright sunny days, the thought of love filling your mind? He hated them, every last little bit. Those overcast, as the skys darken up and the rain pours as free as the birds in the sky, crashing down from the sky with thousands of thuds, the sound of rain and thunder giving everyone a rude awakening. It depressed them to the very core, those rainy days, as if God himself were crying.
Rahovart loved them. Or more of, loved the idea of them, the effect it had on them. Love, such a rare word to enter his mind, and he wasn't sure if it was the right one. He never understood it, so strange and so alien. He loved how people hated those days, and he could feel so close to another being for once, no matter if it just be for an hour or two. He sat there, in the ruins of the village, as he awaited rain, the only company himself. It was all he needed, and it was all he ever would need. Sure, Misery loves company, but misery was just another one of those odd feelings that he felt so little. He welcomed it, as if it were a a drop of sweet rain during a seven-month drought; The wet feeling felt so good, filling his hollow soul.
He looked up, wondering if someone up there may have thought of him, as the sky swelled up, turning into a swirl of black and gray, as if tainted souls filled the sky. Looking up now, with a smile on his face, he liked to think that angels existed. Something ti was impossible for him to despise, something that could prove itself so beautiful and so deserving. He was so confused; Do I want that? Do I want to feel anything else? He'd grown so used of it, he'd thought he had long grown use to the idea of loneliness. But could anyone ever, really?
The sky finally cried, almost as if it had been listening to his tortured thoughts. Perhaps it was laughing at him; Either way, it didn't matter. He couldn't hate what was above him, as it was here to stay, and no matter how much he wished it away, it would still be there, the first thing he opened his eyes to when he woke up. It felt good having a constant in his life, even if it was one that was full of surprises, both of the good and bad kind. The rain pecked at his face, and a smile was brought upon it as it wet down his hair and chilled his flesh. Was someone listening up there?, so he, stood up, his body dripping wet, as he was desperate to ask the eye questions, like what is joy, and what does happiness feel like? The sky gave him no answer other than the rumble of thunder, but it didn't matter. He wanted this storm to last as long as it could; Those few seconds of humanity were all worth it. He just wanted to be alone with the sky - his only true love - and listen to it's beautiful songs composed of the drizzle of misery and the thunderclap of pain; Rahovart had learned long ago that life will never give you what you want, and someone would come soon, to walk in on his silent affair.

Not even this dreadful weather would bring down the youth, no nothing would. Well except perhaps a grumpy daimon but that hadn't happened yet. The dark haired girl twirled under the drizzle of rain, smiling up at the sky. It was just like home! A vivid memory of Channler's 19th birthday flashed in her head. The dreary gray mass of clouds swirling in the sky as the rain beat down on the window pains. Her brother singing happy birthday to her and sneaking a piece of cake under the table to the dog. A faint smile brushed her lips flitting there like a ghost. It was short lived, as Channler stopped the rest of the memory from playing not wanting to see her mother's horrid face. She wanted to remember Kodi's, loved how his dimples showed as he smiled, the taut tan skin and freckles glowing from the candlelight. She missed her little brother, and her older sister Meggie. She hadn't seen Meggie in a long time, she'd been away at college for so long and now Channler would never see her sister again or sweet Kodi who still had to put up with that wretched monster who dare call herself a mother.
The memory that had started happy was now turning towards the worst and Channler vanquished the darkness that dare threaten her mood. She hadn't felt like this since well since never! She felt like she could do anything. Channler laughed to herself as she kept walking, hands in her pockets. Her dark teal eyes sparked like firecrackers, mischief clearly writtin all over the young woman's pretty face. Ya today was definetly her day, Channler grinned as she spotted her victim. Of course she had no idea that this guy before her was some supernatural she only knew about Cerise but right now that redhead was far from her mind as her gaze ran over the other. He didn't look too bad, nope not at all.
The girl walked over him, a smile lighting her face. "Hullo! I'm Channler..." She trailed off noticing how unfocused the other was. How his eyes had that glazed far away look in them like so many others maybe he was one of thos physcotic killers you hear about on the news. Channler took a step back, slightly wavered by the boy's demeanor but then jutted out her chin and crossed her arms. No she mustn't be scared, she was going to make a new friend. I wonder what Nova's doign tonight... Then the girl's attention was directed back to Hunter. "Guess what!? Today's my birthday!" Channler announced as though it was such a big deal as she puffed out her chest. Well it was a very big deal to the girl.
Hell it was such a big deal here she was telling some complete stranger who was probably going to answer with some smart ass remark. Way to pick 'em, Channler!

WHAT.IF.I.WANTED.TO.BREAK?!.laugh.it.all.off.in.your.face.what.would.you.do..what.if.i.fell.to.the.floor.couldn't.take.this.anymore.WHAT.WOULD.YOU.DO?!************ His moment of bliss didn't last long; They never did, as life came kicking in, telling him it was time to wake up from his stupid dreams. Hunter's dark blue eyes made their way towards the girl behind him, behind two narrowed eyelids. Venom on his breath, he wanted to rip apart the girl right there. Water trickling down his face, he simply scowled and waved her away, knowing words would never describe the hatred he felt towards her for interrupting one of his rare moments of happiness. Robbed of that bizarre mood of joy, he had no choice but to talk to her, no matter how much he didn't want to. Why must humans be so annoying?, he asked himself inside his head, a sigh escaping his lips.
It was a question he'd asked himself before, often in those moments of solitude at the gates, those days when Subterfuge had abandoned her post, leaving him alone in his thought; A dangerous thing for such a vicious mind, and he was left to wonder. He had figured out that humans are annoying simply because it is in there nature, to walk into danger so blindly. Like the way stupid sheep follow shepherds, he snickered quietly, even if the shepherd walks off a cliff. He couldn't help but feel a bit of happiness as his mind thought of the image of a few mortals walking themselves off a steep cliff, but then the misery returned when he had to return to the horrible reality.
He sighed as he rose off the ground, his jeans damp and muddy from the ground, though as he had learned, the island's residents weren't exactly competing in a beauty content. As he turned around, it seemed to him as if the girl had been one of the few, with her dress and her big, teal eyes that reminded him of those old porcelain dolls with thick, black eyelashes. The sky cast a morgue tone on the both of them, their ivory skins appearing shades of blue and gray. She was pretty, he had to admit, but with a voice like nails against a chalkboard. It didn't match her face at all, as if someone in the sky had made a joke of her by giving her such a grating voice. Perhaps it wasn't that, maybe it was only her loud tone, but at the moment, it seemed enough to make his ears bleed and his eardrums curl in displeasure.
Still, he managed to work up a smile, but it wasn't voluntarily; It must have been his human body's casual greeting, that bit of southern charm he knew he used to lure the girls in so skillfully, and the sight of the attractive girl seemed to get the best of him, as the body gave another spark of life and forced his will over the daimon's own. He could only hope that it would be the last. A growl excaping his lips, his brow furrowed as he began to answer. "My name is Hunter.", he said roughly, almost an animalistic growl. He wished he was in his real body, not much bigger than this one but much stronger than his current body, who seemed to possess mere sticks for arms. He wanted to strike fear into her, but unfortunately, this boy's face was an attractive one, with his lustrous black-brown hair and eyes like the sapphire waves that crashed against Ivory's white sands.
The sky seemed to recoil at the sound of his voice, as thunder released it's whale bellow amongst the silver clouds, as if hell was concealed in his throat and he just released all it's horrors in four simple words. A strike of lightning followed, dangerously close to the island, it's white flash alighting the area for just a second. The winds began to pick up, blowing his raven hair in all directions, rainwater matting it against his forehead. His eyes turned to a darker shade, the blues of them restricting him from showing the flames in his eyes, his tongue pushing against his canines in an effort not to rip her throat out with his bare hands and teeth. "I'm so happy for you...", he said through clenched teeth, his blood boiling at the thought. No amount of rain could reduce the rage inside him, and this girl looked as if she was here to stay. ************COME.BREAK.ME.DOWN!!!marry.me.bury.me.i.am.finished.with.youTAG. channler evermore.
