A smile crossed her face as she remembered as her sparkling emerald eyes fluttered back open for the first time in a good while; It only made her grin bigger as she remembered the feelings, the soft sand against her back and sneaking into her clothes, and the cool ocean spray against her skin. She didn't care that she didn't know where she was, and she didn't care even as the drifting seasalt floated off the waves and into her eyes. Looking around at this place, she could only feel amzement. A paradise; she felt like she was in one of those old stories of little girls in wonderland. Of course, it did help that her memory seemed to be wiped clean, and she wondered if she would have even cared if there was people out looking for her, parents so worried as to where their daughter went. I just don't care.
Her curiousity was sparked, and once it was, there was no stopping it from turning into a full fledged flame, roaring and burning things it wasn't supposed to. There were so many questions to be answered, as her eyes pulled her to the many sights of the place, unable to resist being the curious girl she was. Well, there was of course, the obvious one; everything wasn't in those wonderful colors that she'd like them to be, a black-and-white picture of a beautiful landscape that her eyes refused to show differently. She had just woken up, and she didn't remeber much of anything, but she knew that was wrong. There were a lot of things wrong, actually, and the huge, leathery wings that poked out from her shoulderblades was one of the more apparent ones. But somehow, the flame-haired girl didn't let it bother her; She was utterly care-free, even if she couldn't help but wonder if she had always been the way she felt now.
Sighing, she left her thoughts, a bit glad to be going so soon from her busy mind. Sadly, part of her felt it wouldn't be doing much, being one to think with her desires more than her brain. Her legs danced across the snow-white sands that seemed to get rougher as it went on, until she realized she wasn't stepping in sand anymore. Her eyes pointing towards her dainty feet, she saw what looked like bits and bits of broken wall. A smile crossed her face, as her eyes darted u, looking at a field of broken houses and dilapidated mansions, with one big, ugly one towering above the rest. Many would have been disgusted, mortified at the sigh of the ugly, fearsome ruins, at the very least repulsed. But she couldn't help but feel amazed, drawn in by them, but there was no doubt about the lingering feeling of dread that hung in the stagnant air. Her large, triangle ears twitched about the top of her head, struggling to find a sound but none came through except the faintest little footsteps that could only belong to someone as small as herself.
Her wings flapping, she glided on as far as the soft airs could carry her, and she didn't require much given her stature. She practically skipped about the sharp, jagged shards of homes and pots that someone once used. Finally, that feeling of self-preservation came up at the back of her head, but her curiousity had skyrovketed, and she knew there was no turning back now. She stood at the entrance of the ugly place, and her green eyes did her best to scan it's interior, no matter how bad her vision actually was, since her hearing made up for half of it anyways. Finally, she saw shadows dance across the walls, no more than four people, towered over by a short feminine figure, but evangeline could smell the testosterone jumping off his skin. She wasn't sure what he was, but she had no doubt that he wasn't human, or whatever she was. She jumped, as her eyes think she sees the witch's head turning her way. He's going to kill me, I know it. Gulping, she could only see his blonde locks dangling and hear the harsh authority even in his quiet breathing. She looked up, not really at him but at the maroon stains that seemed to be merely hints at the wall, with her big, green, doe eyes and nothing more than the smile on her face and the clothes on her back. "Erm, can I come in, please? I don't know where I am.", she grinned and smiled as if she cared as she went against her better judgement by speakign up. Her black wings clutched onto her sides and beat slowly, as she prepared for the blow that would end her with wide eyes.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Lilith was only mildly surprised to have a visitor. Not many on the island came to his shoppe unless they were in dire need, which was fine by him. He didn't want to waste his time with those who weren't willign to pay his fees. Lately, the only activity had been Rhafe and his pretty little mate that had came to deliver their puppies: three healthy wolf pups, triplets in human terms.
He had also given some redeemable coins to the couple of humans that were growing edible food on the island that wasn't from a corpse or from the island's natural habitat- they must have gotten it from the ship, but they were just giving it away. Because of Lilith's policy, he didn't simply taken without giving something in return, so he had offered his services. It seemed to make the smaller one happy, and he'd since served Discord with some herbals teas that could be brewed to ward off illness- something that he had seemed to be concerned about.
Yes, Lilith didn't have many customers, but he didn't care nor did he expect to. It was for this reason he was surprised when the strange looking girl walked in. Immediately, though, he felt something familiar in her. "Come in, child." he wouldn't show her favoritism by any measure, but he wasn't going to turn her away. She'd been brave enough (or stupid enough) to come in seeking shelter.
"You're on the Island of Ivory. I am the witch of the island, you may call me Lilith." he introduced himself. "This is my Tarot Shoppe." he gestured for her to have a seat so that he could bring her some tea to drink. Yes, tea. Lilith loved tea, and he kept non-special varieties always on hand for whenever he had someone like the girl, brave enough to step inside. As long as they didn't annoy him, they wouldn't become the blood on the walls.
He poured the liquid for her as he took note of the animalistic features. He did a brief psychic dive, uninvasive since he was only searching through any recent memories the girl might have, though he had to stop when he saw the bright, stark room. No, she couldn't have had the same experience as he. ... But why did she know of that place, too?

Evangeline smiled, and all signs of nervousness left her face; Always one to show her true emotions and never hold back on the truth, her lack of fear was genuine, whether she still should've feared the witch or not. Going into his home was never a question; It was a warning, really, as the doe-eyed girl always seemed to get what she wanted even from people who could kill her ever-so-easily.
"Thank you, mister.", she said with a warm smile adorning her lips; Evangeline was always sort of sexually colorblind, and could never really put her finger exactly on the features that seperated the males and the females. Especially now, when she had learned to rely on senses other than sight, due to kit fading away and being replaced with the most wonderful hearing one could ask for, courtesy of the satellite disk-like ears that sat atop her head of orange hair. She was genuinely suprised at this witches' hospitality, so used to the memories of pinch-faced priests turning their prudent backs to her, not wanting to let anything new or exciting into their otherwise boring life. It was these memories that Evangeline hugn onto so loosely, and they were the ones she wouldn't care if she forgot, as they stood at the edge of the girl's psyche.
As she walked into the hut, she could finally see the interior of the admittedly ugly place, which was strangely beautiful in ti's own ways, even with the walls stained with the dirty maroon of dried blood. In a way, it reminded her of those paintings of cherubs that seemed to line the walls of the Vatican, and were permanently imprinted into her memory. If Evangeline remembered one thing about that place, it was it's beauty, never to be matched or bested by anything in the whole world. Though the little hut seemed to come in a close second. A smile ran across her face as she took her seat, instantly treated well by the witch. Evangeline wasn't one to question kindness, so shejust did as the witch gestured and listened on.
Smiling, as she brought the cup of tea to her lips, and she took a large gulp of the freshly brewed drink, savoring the sugary sweetness. Lilith had sparked her interests, and her green eyes lit up in excitement. "A witch? Like hansel and gretel?", she smiled. Her mind constantly wandered to those fiary tales, and sometimes she wished to be something more, especially not realizing that she wasn't normal as it was. She didn't move, as she felt Lilith dive into her thoughts, which could be read like an open book. Evangeline kept no secrets, and told no lies. Her thin legs swung back-and-forth as she eagerly awaited the witch's answer, gulpink down the rest of the tea.
