If there was one thing on this forsaken hell they called Earth that Zihao loved, it was spying on hapless people. Never mind that it was creepy. Since when did Zihao give a flying rats ass about those kinds of things? There was absolutely nothing interesting to do on this island, so he had to pass his time in some sort of way, right? So, Zihao had sat up in a tree and watched an unsuspecting woman mind her own business in the forest for the better half of an hour.
When the woman had finally begun to bore him, Zihao had turned his attention to his nails. He wasn't normally the kind of person who cared too terribly about what he looked like, especially not with this human body of his.. but he'd been on the island for a while now and he'd started to notice that his nails were beginning to look at little shabby. This actually bothered him.
Hissing to himself, Zihao climbed down from the tree with almost cat-like reflexes. He peered around the desolate forest for a moment, wondering what he should do next. Normally right about now he'd be looking for someone interesting to torture or turn into his little temporary tool before using them for whatever he wanted. It seemed this forest lacked such resources.
Zihao wondered briefly how it would fare if he took to practicing the things on this island that got him banished to Earth in the first place. There were certainly a few choice people here on the island that he'd seen that Zihao knew that he could absolutely have a little bit of fun with. A small smirk tugged at the corners of his lips at just the mere thought of bathing within a human. Slowly, Zihao began to stroll through the forest, stepping nonchalantly over fallen branches as he went.

Thud, thud, thud. A majestic chestnut mare galloped through the forest, eyes wild, blond mane sleek and shiny. But it was no normal animal. Far from it. Those eyes were too intelligent... Too knowledgeable. And an odd alluring aura seemed to surround the horse, a pull for most humans. Because this was not a horse, rather, it was a Kelpie, only disguised as a horse, trying to lure pathetic mortals to climb on their backs, where they would gallop off into the sea, and eat the flesh off their prey. Hunting had been slow in the last few days, and for the first time in a while, this infamous Kelpie wasn't hunting for sport. Actual hunger gnawed at her stomach, and her blood lust made thinking harder than normal, hence the wild eyes.
She had tracked down a human female, when, to her surprise, the mare caught it's eyes on figure of a... Was it... Yes, she quite thought she knew what she was seeing, and smelling. Despite the nauseating hunger, her curiosity got the better of her. Shifting to her human form, the enchanting female Kelpie quietly followed Zihao through the forest for a short stroll. But she was getting bored with just following. She was interested in this creature, so she spoke out. He wasn't prey, so her voice did not take it's normally sweet and innocent tone. Instead she spoke directly, with presence and a slightly creepy smirk playing upon her lips.
"Greetings," was the short hello she gave. Her cunning eyes watched, and waited for him to turn around.

For a while Zihao had felt like someone or something was following him, though it honestly did not concern him in the slightest. In reality, there was very little that this daimon was actually afraid of, if anything at all. Perhaps it was his arrogance, or perhaps it was the fact that he was a damn sociopath with a penchant for bathing in blood! So when that voice floated to his ears, Zihao's walk only casually halted. He took a moment, attempting to decide whether to be irritated that this interruption or thankful for an encounter to break his spell of boredom.
Finally, Zihao turned around, his dark brown eyes falling upon a woman who was undoubtedly beautiful but appeared a little less than pleasant. For a moment, his stomach churned with disappointment. If there was nothing Zihao disliked more, it was butting heads with someone who was just as strong willed as he was. Tools was what he wanted! Little weaklings with absolutely no self esteem. Slowly, his lips parted to form the words, for a moment almost forgetting how to speak English as it was most definitely not a daimon's first language. "Salutations." His voice was low, almost unpleasant like oil. There was a thick Chinese accent to his words, but that was all part of the disguise.
Zihao wasn't really Chinese at all. Did daimon's even really have any nationality other than being from the sulfurous bowels of hell? No. This horrendous body he was given just happened to be Chinese. Zihao had often wondered if it were also part of the punishment included in being banished.
"Is there something I can help you with?" Because if not, he was going to continue walking. He didn't particularly like the idea of standing there in silence, gazing into each others eyes.

Her eyes flashed, a slightly scarlet tinge to the normally crystalline hue. Whether this was due to a lack of sleep, or an overwhelming blood lust, it was yet to be seen. But either way, Aureus felt the need for blood pushing against her chest. Her mouth felt parched, and her stomach hungered for the flesh of any mortal who dared to stray across her path. Once, the question of remorse had been posed on her... And the Kelpie's answer was simple, she laughed, for felt no grief over killing, in fact, she reveled in death and despair. But this came at a cost. She was alone, entirely and completely. Even her own kind were scared of her. Admittedly, Aur didn't really care to socialize, but the gradual lack of contact with others besides killing them had begun to take a bit of a toll on her. She was surprised to realize that there was a small emptiness in her... A hallow.
She enjoyed watching the Daimon, but with a slightly nervous twitch, she broke eye contact. She was not a threat to him... Or maybe she was. Admittedly, Daimon's were one of the things that still sent an unpleasant shiver down her spine; but the mere idea of killing a Daimon... It was quite a nice thought. But her curiosity held her back, and she looked past him briefly, and then lazily looked up as he spoke, her smile fading. Instead, a quizzical, slightly vacant look took over.
"Is there something I can help you with?" His voice was interesting, and unique, if not a tad hard on the ears. She felt almost dismissed at his words, and she glared underneath the nicely composed expression that she used as a mask of sorts. Eyes glimmering, she smiled, an odd, crooked grin, before speaking. "Well, it's just that I was wondering... What'd you do to get sent here?" The golden-haired Kelpie's voice was polite, but there was an obvious attitude to it, almost like a dare. She had decided that this one would provide an entertaining game, an interesting subject to toy with. Of course, she really did wonder why the Daimon would be here, for if she was he, she'd have done her best to stay wherever he had come from. But more importantly, she wanted to see if she could rattle him... Or provoke him. Either worked as far as she was concerned.
