i think the spotlight always gives you stage fright †WISH THIS ALL WOULD END RIGHT†
†STOP MAKING MY HEAD SPIN† it's over but what if we just pretend
Attraction, mixed with a faulty sense of self-preservation.
Thta's how Carys explained her presence at the Black Wolf Caves. Though a slayer, she usually knew better than to do foolish things such as this. But going against her better instincts, she had headed up to the caverns mainly to cure boredom. Ever since she had found herself on thsi miserable little plac, the feeling was unavoidable, and it graced everyone sometimes. Usually, people found ways to cope; For some, it was in the affairs of the flesh, little one night stands just to cure their instatiable lust brought on surely by hormones. For Carys? It was 'hunting', as she had come to call it, or 'slaying' as it was better known. Her brown eyes scannedover from the caves where she sat, a dagger bizarrely shaped like a cross in hand. Before this all happened, she was an atheist. Never raised with much of a religion, there was none of that religous bullshit to hold her back from her dreams, still largely unaccomplished, but she was getting there. But sometimes, it jsut takes a simple little jolt of fright to give someone faith, a sary face in the dark with teeth like daggers. Fuuny how that works, she thought, her mind returning to memories of church with her grandfather, and suddenly the place didn't seem so useless.
She wasn't sure why she'd set her eyes on this daimon in particular, rude little bastard he was. Well, little was certainly stretching it. She had already seen him in daimon form, a hellhound; An immense creature that seemed to be composed entirely of muscle, teeth and fur. She shuddered just thinking about her first sight of the thing, a rare instance but a welcome one, as she had thought fear had long left her. It seems that the island's witch has left the place without a trace of his dissappearance, along with his mate, leaving the caves without it's legendary boogeyman to haunt it. This made Carys a bit sad, thinking the hunt the creature would provide; She had mcuh too much pride to go to the festival that was going on, and too much fear at the thoiught of the witch brusting in and slaughtering everyone with no sudden warning. The witch. Now, that would be a fine trophy.
She shook her head. The intelligent girl constantly found herself lost to fnatasies, even when her current mission required utmost focus. She calmly slipped the cross into her pocket, as she closed her eyes and said a simple prayer to the Virgin Mary and the God above that she would live, insincerely thanking him for everything he had done for her. Like he's done shit for me. Her eyes scanned the ground, as she gripped a bottle of blessed water ever-so-closely to her heart. It was so hard to see in amongst the darkened greenery, but eventually she cuaght sight of the dirty-blonde daimon; His human form, as she remebered, and she hoped that she wqasn't making a mistake, but didn't care if she did. What was a little spilled blood in a place without law? She landed on her feet, stumbling a bit from the force of the fall, but quickly straightened herself up. She stared at him through narrowed eyes, batting her lashes. "Bark Bark.", she teased, as she slipped the water gingerly in her pocket.

Leo had left the little "party" after a while still curious about much of the island he had yet to explore since he was quite new to the island. The one place that intrigued him were the caves that had now lost their oh so dangerous wolf that had roamed them. Now wouldn't it be fun if he could scare the islanders using this as his backdrop. Sure, a dangerous wolf was frightening but a true dangerous hound like himself standing tall as a large Clydesdale at over feet tall just to the shoulders. That didn't even count the three heads equipped with all those teeth and horns.
His eyes easily picking up the things around him since this face was merely just a mask and he was made for hunting in the deep dark. That dark brunette hair paired with the dark clothing the closet his human form could get to his fur color but it was good enough. Though if these caves were going to be of any use for a bit of fun, he would have to find them first though his nose was leading him quite easily picking up that wolf's scent that lingered all around him. He easily found them but was welcomed by something he was definitely not expecting, a human woman with quite an attitude on her.
Bark bark, oh well he had heard worse though she worked quick to already put his two forms together. He wasn't like some and he preferred walking in his true form, being what he truly was, instead of trying to look human. It was fun to chase people down galloping through the forest and easily snapping tree limbs as his thick body made paths through. Though being in this form gave the opportunity his other did not, communicating with mortal like this spunky little woman. "You really shouldn't use a language when you don't know what your saying," he gave a dangerous grin. Tell Me I'm a Bad Man

Dark eyes rolled about her head as the words left his lips. She wished she could say they were predictable, but she wasn't a people reader; She never bothered trying to burrow into people's psyche, instead trading attacks of the psychological type for the more obvious choice of physical ones. From what she had experienced, it worked quite well, and somewhere along the line, the two were one and the same. Typical of these creatures, those streaks of overconfidence and unwarranted superiority. Though she was just a mere human, he had no idea what she was capable of; She liked it that way, that stupid way that he underestimated her, it would be his downfall. Oh, she would make sure of that, as she splashed the last bit of holy water onto his sizzling and barking muzzle.
She counted her blessings, glad that the boy ahdn't chnaged into an immense hound yet and he wasn't picking her out of his many, pointed teeth. She was pushing her lcuk, her concious argued with her, as the devil on her shoulder just sat there and smiled, and as always, that's all it took. Cowardice was a distant stranger to Carys; She'd grown to ignore it, and push it to the bakc of her mind. She knew it would be the end of her, eventually. She knew that, one day, her luck would run out and there she would be, lost and in trouble, without a chnace of survival. She knew the dangers of what she was doing, how easily these things could rip her limb from limb. Yet she didn't care, and many would ask why. Because that day won't be today, she'd reply with her nose in the air and a smile on her face. She lived for the hunt, the kill, the adrenaline running through her veins as her life hung by a thread that could be so easily cut with the quick swipe of a glarly claw. But not today.
"What makes you so confident?", she hissed, though fear swarmed in her eyes, too dark for him to see, but it was there. Taking a few steps back, she narrowed her brown orbs, and just stared, a stand-off to see who striked first. But, being that she did provoke him, she figured it was only right that she did. Snickering, she splashed the liquid onto his nose, just a bit, but that's all it usually taked. While she didn't expect it to burn through his skull and out the other side, atleast it buiyed her some time needed for contemplating, as she eyed her only way out. Gulping, she awaited for the second to pass, and her oppurtunity leave her.

Humans such an odd species and always so confident that they were always on top. It wasn't hard for Leo to tell that she, like so many of her species, held that same foolish confidence that there was not a thing above them even now. He crossed his arms not quite so happy to have been 'barked' at by this bitch in the first place.
Leo was about to respond to her with another sarcastic response that he seemed to be so good at when she had thrown some of that horrid water at his face. His hand wiping at his face in practically a mirror image of what a dog would have done with its paw as a deep growl came from his chest. His eyes shut for a moment as his hands still went over his face in that very dog-like manner.
"What the hell was that for?" he growled not yet in his true form but quite close to changing. He moved forward not looking very pleased with her in the slightest. Leo was pissed now and he would let her know with this face first before she got to see any one of his true faces. Tell Me I'm an Angel

Her brow knitted, a glare, her black eyes brimming with deep hate at the creature. As if even his mere pain angered her, and she couldn't help but let a growl escape between her teeth. Bloodlust had set in, and it seemed so natural to kill these creatures all the sudden, to see their blood and sinew spread all across the walls and splattered about her face. Oh, she desired nothing more! She practically salivated over it, like a hungry dog drooling over a bone. She was hungry for violence as always, and as her primal instincts set in, and finally. She was in the zone.
A scream erupted, like a volcano exploding, hot magma burning everything in site and destrcution reigning above all; chaos seemed to be contained in that single, unearthly screech. She charged, as fear left her and died, to come back again after the initial rush wears off or that first strike hits her; hoping it wouldn't kill her. Hopping on the creature's back, she took out a dagger of some kind, in the shape of the christian cross. Oh, they say these things worked with fate, and Carys had been running low on it lately. Straring into the eyes of this beast currently in human form, she wondered for just a second how a god could make something so horrible. A quick prayer, she muttered under her breath, as her eyes fluttered shut, her only protection the invisible barrier in between them. Unfortunately, Crays wasn't any witch, and she couldn't simply banish him back to hell. But she could sure as hell do her best to make him want to return.
Her heart thumped wildly in her chest as her eyes fluttered back open, suprised that her death ahd yet to arrive. Gulping, the lifted the heavy, silver cross up, as she plunged deep down, her eyes focused on his thick hide. It struck the hard earth, cracking, as she fell down with it, the breath knocked out of her. Her face rested gently on the creature's paw with nails digging into her neck, she stared up in awe, just amazed at the hound's immense size. She could go crazy just from that alone, but she had other problems to worry about as it's needly teeth threatened to puncture and rip apart her soft flesh. Biting he rlip, she struggled against releasing that scream of terror that the misogynists of this planet had likened to her gender, as she quickly pealed herself off the ground. Her eyes darted towards the cross stuck in the ground, as she scrambled to get it, trying to release it from the foul earth's grasp. "God help me...", she said under her breath as she fought against her eyes to look up at the demonic canine that stood above her. Her heart beat wildly, anticipating it's first move. Her msucles, however, screamed against her to hope it didn't come soon.

They hunt you, Lucifer's Angel. Never lived, Never died YOUR LIFE HAS BEEN DENIED THEY CALL YOU, THE LUCIFER'S ANGEL ----------------------------------------------------------------- Leo winced a bit at that damn awful scream of hers, maybe he should just kill her now to save this earth of that horrid noise. Ah that would be the first good bloody deed if it could be considered 'good' at all. Then she charged at him like a stupid pup would and he just stood there shocked to see what exactly she had planned to 'take him down' for whatever reason she had come up with. Maybe she had heard about his thing for children? Well, that did seem to disgust quite a large number of living things....
She jumped onto his back which surprised Leo even more. He turned his head to lock eyes with her and then the blade that was evidently meant for him. Well, he couldn't have that right now at all. His moved quickly so as she planned to strike she would slide right back over his back and back onto the ground where ugly little bugs like herself belonged. As she fell so did that human mask he wore, tired of waiting to see where this would go and just better to end the annoyance now. His paw easily finding her neck on the ground as those black nails pressed into her skin merely just a warning for now with those three mirrored evil dog like grins already dripping with saliva like the mad beast he was.
Leo followed her with slow large steps toward her weapon, all three heads letting out the growl from that large barrel of a chest. He could practically smell the fear coming off her in waves as she stayed on the ground below him, not running yet. Leo nudged her with his middle head, that large nose and muzzle was enough to send any human flat on their back. Then all that was left was to walk forward a bit, now completely over her all three heads poised to strike if she dared to move. Though if a bit of saliva dropped on her, well that was her fault for starting this in the first place.
