POST HERE IF YOU ARE CELEBRATING THE "DEATH" OF THE WITCH.
Or, alternatively, your character can show up as a party crasher. It's all up to you! Lilith will NOT be showing up in this thread to punish anyone for celebrating his and Nero's apparent demise.

Delora was unsure of who was throwing the part or even why, all that mattered to her was it was a welcome distraction to the thoughts that were plaguing her.
It seemed seeing those bodies put her despair into overdrive. Without her new found friend, Charlie around, her cutting had become worse especially with thoughts of Mammon being with a mortal still stuck with her. 'Perhaps I can forget it all even if it's just for tonight' she thought as she stepped into the celebration that appeared of have just started.
She had found an old trunk washed up on shore, and in it were clothes which she promptly took. After all, she only had two outfits. She chose to wear a navy blue full skirted dress with a black shrug to hide the scars on her arms. Instead of pigtails, her hair was down and wavy as it normally was when not pulled up. She found a place and sat down, unsure of what to do or say.
She was never good in these sorts of situations, but she decided it was worth a shot, to try and break out of her shell. 'Even meet someone new' she thought to herself, glancing as another person arrived to the party.

Hikari had gotten word of the party and showed up with eight bottles of alcohol, three in each hand and two others in the pockets of his yellow track shirt with black stripes. He'd been on the island nearly a week, scavenging in the forest for food and cooking up fish on the beach, and his poor old black shirt had come apart in tatters. He'd swapped it out with the yellow track shirt from his duffelbag, not feeling comfortable being shirtless after what Kato had told him about the island.
Hikari arrived at the appointed place on the beach, apparently one of the first to arrive. There was a little makeshift tent and a table underneath it. He set down the bottles of booze there, keeping one for himself. Of course, when he had heard about the party, he had decided to bring them, but discovered he could only carry a limited amount. He didn't want to get back afterwards and discover the rest of it was gone, so he'd downed every bottle besides the ones he planned to bring along. Therefore, he was already rather drunk when he arrived.
"Wooohooooooo! Partyyyyy!" he yelled to no one in particular, grinning like a maniac and popping open his bottle.

(i'm still alive, but i'm barely breathing.)j u s t p r a y i n g t o a g o d t h a t i d o n ' t b e l i e v e i nDing-dong, the witch is dead, the wicked witch is dead... The sing song voices of idiotic mortals and immortals alike tackled his eardrums as his ears begged for sweet mercy to make the horrible noises they made to cease; Which Greed was perfectly capable to do in the sleight of a hand, just a quick surge of his element and the iron in their blood would be ripped clean from their body, amongst other things he hadn't quite explored yet.
Those words of insight were clever for the boy who was never the rbightest of the seven sins; In all truth, it would be a safe bet to say that he was in fact the stupidest, a fact he acknowledged and frankly couldn't help to the best of his efforts to please people. He had managed to figure out the predicament him and his siblings had found themselves, without any sudden warning to the witch's dissappearance; Or supposed 'death', but he new better, with his 'contract' still hanging clearly over his head and having been summoned by so many dark witches before, thoiugh admittedly known quite like the witch of this place, simply the old boil-toil-cauldron-bubble bullshit as it seemed most of them followed so blindly. It ssemed rather out-of-character for such a formal master to simply leave like that, and even his feeble mind knew something else was at work. Alas, he was here to have fun, but he wasn't sure if he was going to.
He wasn't here to celebrate the witch's death, that was for sure, and he was indifferent to the matter. He could always be lumped into that ever-broad category of party-crashers, a fact that he could neither confirm or deny. But one thing was for sure, was that he wasn't walking in with a smile on his face. No, the daimon was a bit pissed as to the fact that his 'iventory' had vanished along with Lilith, which mattered much more than Lilith and his fucking pet. The cashs igns in his eyes died down as soon as he heard the swamp was nowhere to be found, and his drugs along with it; precious little ideas had been swimming around his head lately about the possibilities the various drugs held, and how he could exploit them, in addition to thoughts about his precious Pixie that were less than pure that his sin begged him to act on soon, and somewhere along the line the two desires had mixed together. Of course, Pixie wasn't on his mind, as his gut twisted 'round and he spotted his daughter, who he held a different kind of love for that noone else could ever match, yet not even they seemed to fully understand. He tried his best to sneak up behind the girl, careful, as to not scare the girl off like a hunter stalking after his prey, though no ill intent was present in his eyes. His eyes quickly dove to her arm, and they widened like two huge balls as he spotted the various cuts that stained it, left open to infection due to the island's lack of supplies.
His teeth grated against eachother, as he found no words escape his mouth. He was sure the girl didn't want to see him, but he couldn't simply let this go unnoticed. He wasn't one to neglect the child, the only bit of selflessness he had dedicated himself to for a long time. "...how...why?!", the only words he could muster out, utterly baffled.

Delora felt her heart freeze in her chest as a familiar voice filled her ears. 'He's the last person I wanted to see tonight' she thought, her eyes widening but dare not turning around to face him. "It's the only thing that keeps my despair at bay. If I didn't leave these cuts then I wouldn't be here, I would have died a long time ago" she said softly, the very feeling she was trying to forget hitting her harder than ever. "Why do you even care? You have that girl to think of" she said, her voice trembling though trying hard to keep herself together.
"Don't you remember that you forgot me. You left me in this world alone with absolutely no one. Do you have any idea what it's like being ripped from everything that is familiar, and not having one person to care enough to help" she said, tears falling down her cheeks. Her mind was screaming at her not to say anymore that she didn't mean any of it, but the hurt she felt because of him outweighed how she truly felt. How could she forget that she had been stranded in this strange world, shuffled from institution to institution because she had no family or true identity.
She wanted someone to save her from this. She hoped desperately that someone would come over to ask for a dance or anything just to get as far as she could from Mammon. Despite not truly ever being able to hate him, she couldn't bear being so close knowing that her feelings would never be able to reach him. 'Please, someone save me from this' she thought, pulling the shrug closer to her body.

Since meeting Lilith Talbot had kept a low profile, but as she had done her best to stay off the radar it seemed that she'd gained some attention as well. She'd kept to herself, but the longer she spent in the village she'd found that it was hard to keep her circumstances of her arrival her on Ivory. There were a few on the island she'd come to have conversations with, and slowly she began to lend out the few items she'd brought with her...the extensive collection of books, information of the maps she's drawn, which by now she'd plastered her own "home" with them. Few had come to the island prepared and the fact that she had only provided her with a little advantage.
Now news of the island witch's disappearance reached her, and Talbot could only feel confused as to how someone so powerful would just fall off the face of the earth. Yes, it was the island's typical response to dealing with the population, but Lilith?
Pulling her hoodie closer around her form she watched the celebration from a bit of a distance. The shifter gave a small sigh, pushing back the rosy and brown strands of hair, the color faded and bleached by the sun now. It had been so long to come to terms with what she was, but Talbot began to take Lilith's confession of her bloodline as something serious. The blackouts still happened, the feeling that there was something, or someone else occupying her body...she still wasn't sure if she wanted to find a pack to join. Her anger at Lilith, her fear of his mate had kept her in the shadows and isolation in order to avoid unwanted violence and the chance of provoking her inner beast and hurting people.
Pulling out the worn, leather bound journal she began to write. What had happened was an event that needed to be recorded, needed to be watched carefully. Who knew what chaos would come to the island next, or what was already put into gear now. While others celebrated, and while she wanted to enjoy the sudden freedom from the witch, something inside of her seemed to bristle, staying cautious and alert.

It seemed as soon as he had arrived on this fuck of an island the witch had disappeared. Not something that really bothered him much considering he never met the person in question, though he was somewhat curious if only for the fear the witch seemed to cause among the islanders. Now, they were throwing some little party over the disappearance and Leo had to come only to see if he could find something to interest him, a new...chew toy.
Now arriving at the little party he just had to pick out someone, someone that a three headed dog could have fun with. Though it was hard to tell he had three heads when he was walking around on two feet with this face on. He couldn't scare them all out right showing up in all his true glory, that would never get him anywhere.
That was when he spotted the young woman with her nose in a book, books were never really his thing but playing with their readers was. Leo walked up to her, not really caring if he was interrupting her or not for that was far from ever crossing his concern. "Having fun?" he asked with a wolfish grin on that pretty face. No matter how much this look hide that animal appearance it could never get rid of it all. They Could Care Less

"Doesn't seem like she wants to deal with you brother," Asmodeus spoke showing up at what he thought an opportune moment, " Though I don't blame her." He smiled devilishly at his brother since he was already enjoying this party.
He had come to see if he could find some more new ones to play with and if he hadn't met his favorite younger brother, well his favorite one to play with. It was the first time he had met him this time though with a new human face but it was not hard to tell it was indeed his favorite little Greed.
"Now," he smiled down at Delora with a wink, "lets run away from him before he gets mad at me." Asmodeus offered his hand to her as if he was going to take her far away but who honestly knew with that funny little brother of his. Well, it was better to act first and fast and think after. Even with the darkness of the night a shadow blocked the light that Talbot was writing in. She stopped suddenly, looking at the sudden darkness before she turned her head to look at whoever it was who sought to take her attention away from her work. She could feel him closer to her than she usually preferred people when approaching her...all because of the wolf Nero...but he was gone now and the risk of attack like that was lower than it had been while the wolf was still roaming.
"Fun is a relative term to use. I guess you could say that I'm more intrigued by all of this than thrilled with delight." She started, slowly shutting her journal, a finger marking the yellowish pages where she'd stopped in her writing. "I find this whole thing curious, and yet instead of questioning the how and whys of the situation everyone seems to be pleased with the result." She moved to rise to her feet, watching the other...he was not someone she knew, someone whose name she would have written down in her books scattered among her room. No, she'd become very good at collecting and storing information, and she was pretty sure that even in passing she'd yet to meet this one. Amber eyes looked him over slowly.
"What about you? Are you having fun tonight? Surely you can't be bored enough to think a simple girl like me is an entertaining distraction? Or are you simply an observer as well?" Talbot asked, rising up as she brushed the back of her sundress' skirt off.

"Sometimes its just better to go with it then question why," he gave a grin, "No more witch or mutt. So just go with it." Just because he hadn't met these two didn't mean he hadn't been able to pick up their scents likes two over powering perfumes on this island. So with that said, Leo had nothing against them but that didn't mean he wasn't going to use this opportunity to run wild a bit before someone tried to tie him down again.
He ran through his hair because he was never going to get used to human skin and its lack of hair or fur. Simple? Did the girl honestly think she was simple? A simple girl was one that was easy to just rip her limb from limb after she had followed you thoughtlessly. No, this girl with all the words she was able to create was far from those simple ones.
"Fun? Not exactly," he slipped his hands into the pockets of his jeans as to keep them out of his hair, "Just looking for temporary distractions from boredom." They're Gonna Rip up Your Heads

Post by Amaya Peregrine on Sept 3, 2010 5:32:10 GMT -5
Honestly, Amaya wasn't the partying type of person. She barely even knew who this Lilith person was that they were celebrating the death of. In fact, Amaya didn't even know there was a party going on! It shows exactly how in tune with the goings-on of the island she was. Instead, Amaya landed her accidentally. She had been taking a walk on the beach when she'd come across the gathering of people. And obviously, once she saw the gathering, Amaya knew she just had to let her curious side get the better of her.
Tonight she had taken her sandals off and was carrying them around in one hand. They dangled as her toes squished down into the warm white sand, picking her way through the people. Then someone yelled, and she jumped out of surprise. It was an Asian man who seemed to be rather drunk already. The first thought that entered into her mind was how did he get booze on this island? Amaya watched him with surprised interest, not being able to help but giggle at his maniacal grin as he popped open the bottle he had in his hand.
Slowly, she shifted through the sand towards him. When she spoke, her voice was soft and honey-like. "Looks like you've started the party long before everyone else." Amaya smiled at him, her long curly brown hair falling into her eyes thanks to the light breeze that blew through the beach. Her sandals swung a little idly in her hand before Amaya decided to set them down in the sand, hoping that no one would steal them. Then she glanced back up at the man, blushing softly when she suddenly realized that perhaps she was bothering him.

Hikari was pretty happy right now, despite being a castaway. It had been a rough week since landing in his little lifeboat; a party was just what he needed. So he just let loose entirely! Having drunk a bunch of bottles of alcohol before he even showed up tended to help with that, too. Now if only he could start talking to some hot chicks, this would be perfect...
Speak of the devil! A woman approached him casually and said something witty (at least to his drunken mind), her voice like butter on hotcakes. Indeed, all the metaphors Hikari could think of to describe her had to do with food. The woman was absolutely gorgeous. And then she smiled, her long brown hair falling into her face sensuously. Hikari's grin widened and he blushed slightly with happiness at the fact that a girl like her would even notice a guy like him, much less talk to him.
'Aaaah, she's so cuuuute!' he thought to himself as she put down her sandals and looked up at him, pink standing out on her porcelain skin. Hell, she wasn't even taller than him, like most of the other girls he'd met.
"It's never too early to start a party!" he said enthusiastically. "Hey, are you an angel, 'cuz you--no wait, I messed that up. Uh... Are you a parking ticket, 'cuz you've got "fine" written all over you."

(i'm still alive, but i'm barely breathing.)j u s t p r a y i n g t o a g o d t h a t i d o n ' t b e l i e v e i nAs soon as he heard those first set of words come at himk from her little mouth, his heart was overcome with guilt, and of course the sin that seemed to overtake his child so greatly; His heart felt heavy and hollow, as it floated up in his throat and he found it diffucult to swallow it back down as it fought against his best desires. His legs felt like jelly as he choked by tears, and it made him feel weak to do so, but weak to even think of sobbing. He wanted to look strong in front of his child, his precious child who he had raised, though perhaps she didn't have the right upbringing as every child deserved, and it was certainly not something he could give her. But he tried, and he could say that much. Unfortunately, as he looked on and finally felt how bitter his first taste of despair felt, he knew that it wasn't enough, and she deserved so much more than he could provide her. But he wasn't about to let go of her that easy; Greed never did, and he would hang on until the end, one of the few admirable qualities of his sin.
He teremebled, as he tried to stand tall and his voice shook; An unstable mess is what she had made him, and he was just fine that way.As fake pride swept over him, he looked at her through water-y eyes and bitten lips as she conntinued on and the tears rained down his cheeks. Always the child of the family, always so susceptible to his emotions, such human emotions... The words, who's authors had long been lost, had haunted him since forever, and they showed through his disguise, too evident to ignore. He knew everyone saw it, and he could pretend to not care, but weakness was not a welcome feeling to the daimon.
Her words held both truth and misunderstanding, a complete failure to grasp their relationship; Not entirely her fault, as he had just grasped it himself, though Despair was always gifted with a bit more intelligence than her, but her weakness was her sweet little heart that could be shattered so very easily and her naivety, which simply could not be helped. At the same time, however, there was no doubt that he was the one at fault here; So stupid to forget his first love, however platonic it may have been. But love, it was unpredictable, and the succubus came along without explanation. In some ways, they were kindred spirits, and there was an instant connection. It just couldn't be helped. Just as he struggled on to open his mouth and let out the words that needed so desperately to be spoken to her, the familiar irritating sound of his brother's voice filled his ears. He didn't even take time to listen to the annoying Asmodeus's words, as he took out a sheet of metal he had been saving for just such occasion, though in his mind he imagined it would have been a meeting with Wrath. Going against his better judgement as the metal formed over his hands intoa clawed gauntlet created from silver, he swiped around, and without words, flung his brother across the party, nto without a few scars. He breathed heavily, as he spun back around, not expecting Despair to still be there but hoping so much.

"Go with the flow?" Talbot repeated as a bemused smile grew across her lips at the others suggestion. Putting her journal into her jacket pocket she let out a low chuckle, "That is the first time anyone on this godforsaken island has said anything like that to me. Besides, if you haven't noticed when things go with the flow things like this happen." She motioned to the party meaning in her gesture the sudden disappearance of the island's "law".
"I guess you could just say I'm worried about what's going to happen next. Hard to party hard when there is no telling what the day will bring for us." she stepped in close to the other, studying him before giving a small subtle sniff to the air. Slowly the girl was growing use to the idea that she wasn't human and that the smallest changes that her body tended to notice...that her beast tended to notice, where the things keeping her alive so far on this island. Was he human? He seemed human enough, but she still was trying hard to decipher the scent of human versus the scent of anything that could possibly kill her.
She smirked, bright Amber eyes glowing with the distant light of the fire, "So do I bore you? Or am I a good enough distraction for you tonight? I'm not the most exciting person on here...just well informed, though I've never seen you here before."

Delora was relieved yet a bit frightened that is was the daimon of lust that came to her rescue. 'I did ask for anyone' she thought to herself as she reached for his hand. In the blink of an eye however he was tossed aside on the other side of the party. She turned around to see Mammon with a metal gauntlet on, the first time during the night that she saw him with her baby blue eyes now red from her tears.
"My arms aren't the only things I cut" she said softly, her voice trembling. She felt that since he caused her so much pain then he should know to what extent she has harmed herself to avoid it. She lifted up her skirt a bit just enough for him to catch a glimpse at the cuts that littered over the pale skin of her thighs. She lowered her skirt down and looked up at him. "This is what I've done to survive in this world. However sometimes even that's not enough" she said softly, "I've tried to die so many times because sometimes it doesn't work. I've tried to slit my wrists, hang myself, throw myself in a river, and I even crawled into an oven while it was on."
"Yet for some reason fate keeps failing, and letting me live. I always thought that it would be because you were coming for me so we could have a life together, just the two of us, but I've been proven wrong once more. There is no reason for me to continue on" she said sadly, before walking past Shane. Once again, her sin had taken her completely, and she was off to the other side of the beach to do what she failed to so many times before.
